theres a 70€ gap between 5700x and x3d so im just wondering if its worth that much more

ive got Asus Prime Pro x470 which in my knowledge should be compatible after bios update

I currently have a ryzen 7 2700x and im looking to buy a new am4 cpu, since i wont have the money to do a full new build. i've been looking at ryzen 5 5700x because it seems to be in a good place for me price wise, but would the 5800x be a better upgrade for only 30€ more atm? also the new 5700x3d dropped but the price seems a bit steeper for my price range also im currently running a gtx 1080 so i know that i will be bottlenecked but im looking to upgrade that aswell in like a few months. i mostly only do gaming, no editing or workloads really

So, my GPU, amd rx 5700 xt decided to stop working fully, atm my diagnosis of the issue is the power cable slots or something around that, since the gpu slotted in with power the pc will not boot to windows or bios, but with just 1 of the 2 (either cable either way) is connected the gpu boots into windows just fine, but without video output, i havent seen any visible issues with the card so im just thinking of the oven mehthod as kind of a last straw, should i just send it or would there possibly be other stuff to do first? Also im guessing i need to take my waterblock off of the card before i stick in the oven right?

Hi. at this time, im using my 4g modem on my pc which i pretty damn slow ranging from sorts of 20-60mbps down and 20-50 up. i recently upgraded my phones internet to 5g and im getting easily around 300mbps down and close to 100 up, how cna it be so drastically different while being in the same room, since my understanding is that 5g is even more prone to disruptions from obstacles etc compared to 4g

Hi! so, i have an iphone 13 which works just fine without any issues, except, a while ago my gf wanted to play cod mobile on my phone which requires signing in obviously, she wanted to use facebook for it, because she has played on her previous phone and had all her stuff on that account, she managed to sign in to her account on my phone, but something got messed up in the process. Now atm, any app that i try to sign in using facebook, automaticly signs in through her facebook instead of mine, even tho im signed in on my facebook app on the phone, and ive got multiple apps i'd like to sign into, but cannot, because when choosing that option, you cannot choose to write login information, it is just automatic kind of " do you give permission to do this and that blah blah". what could i possibly do to undo this issue?

So, atm for years my windows 10 has been setup on my very old ssd, its latest drivers are from 2006 according to windows. I also have 2 other ssd's on my pc with games and other stuff on them. My question is, when i install windows 11 on my other drive(D) tomorrow, will the games setup on the ssd still work normally, or cause errors, because for instance my Riot Games client is on drive C, and like valorant and league are on drive E. Do i need to reinstall all the games against?

but, doesnt the new logic require pcie gen 4 speeds, or is just faster because of the different and shorter loading order

mostly, i was thinking about the new g6x memory, does it require pcie gen 4, or does it work without it, that logic i mean, loading not going through the CPU, but straight to GPU memory

asus x470 pro prime im pretty sure, that should be enough, but at the same time i've been thinking about the pcie gen 4, which this board doesnt support

Hey! After the launch of rtx 3000 series, i've decided to get the rtx 3080, but before that most likely will be waiting for the rdna2 launch, just incase some miracle happens with those GPUs. At the moment, i have an amd radeon 5700xt with a ryzen 7 2700x, and im pretty set on also upgrading the CPU since i've really been looking forward to going to zen 2, or should i just be waiting for Zen 3, for better pricing and value. Also im really not sure should i be getting a new PSU, atm i have a 750W 80+gold, but im not sure that will be enough for the new RTX lineup. Help would be greatly appreciated!

Tried that multiple times, and nothing, but its odd since the mobo still gets atleast some power to light up the led etc

Also the mobo does receive power since all the led on the mobo and gpu light up

So, im building my friends pc with a Rog Strix z390-f gaming motherboard and a lian li lancool one digital case, and i have an issue with the system panel/front io stuff. Simply, the pc wont start, everything else is wired correctly, except i cant figure out why the pc wont start, im pretty sure its the power sw 2 pin cable (power sw and CH) but i have never heard of ch in these pins and i’ve built pc’s before

Now i seemed to acutally find a JRGB1 header in the MOBO, so im assuming thats the connector?

So im building a secondary pc, and the motherboard seem to not have a RGB header for the wraith max cooler, is there any way to hook it up to it ? MOBO: MSI B450-A Pro MAX

I have a PHILIPS 49PUS8303/12 TV and i wanna connect my old PS2 to it, the issues is that the TV only has ypbpr port ( a 3,5 mm port ), no AV/Scart, and a few HDMI ports, I have 2 " adapters ", first one is just Red/Green/Blue that combines to a 3,5mm jack, and the second one is the same, but with Yellow/Red/White. I can get output from the PS2 by using its own cables which are Yellow/Red/White and connecting the Yellow one with the aforementioned R/G/B adapter, spesifically to the Green one and plugging that in to the ypbpr, but the output is black/white and there is no sound, and plugging the other cables to the left off G/B doesnt do anything. I also tried the other adapter with no output at all, which im guessing has to do that it just doesnt work in the ypbpr port. Also, if its not possible to use with the cables i have, should i just try and buy a PS2 component cable with the 2 REDs /Green and blue ports and plug that with the other adapter that i have? So, what should i do in order to get output with colors and some audio, would love to play some of those old games? ALSO, if this post is not in the correct "subformus/forum" please guide to the right one!

Just thought about the Noctua NH-D15 CPU cooler, it wont fit to the case with the side panel, about 5mm too big, so would an AMD Wraith Max be enough for the 2600?

Btw, i know this question probably should be in a " modding subforum " or something like that, on the 1060, one of the 1 fans has a broken blade on it, works fine otherwise, execpt it vibrates quite a lot, so can it be just bypassed with taking the fans off and replacing them with something like case fans etc,? so it wouldnt harm the motherboard with the vibration.

So, in an another post i was asking about rather cheap parts for building a secondary pc and i've come up with these, and i was wondering will it be bottlenecked in anyway? Parts that will most likely be ordered: Ryzen 5 2600 3,4GHz 6-core G.Skill 16GB (2x8GB) Ripjaws V, DDR4 3200MHz, CL16 Corsair 550W CX550 PSU MSI B450-A Pro MAX These parts would be combined with a gtx 1060 6GB GPU, SSD and HDD and a Noctua NH-D15 SE AM4 cooler. The GPU, storage and cooler are old stuff i just have in my closet so the PC would be built around those parts to begin with!

So, i think these would be my final parts for the pc, any tips will be appreciated if you see anything that should be different. AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3,4GHz 6-core G.skill 16GB (2x8GB) Ripjaws V, DDR3 3200MHz, CL16 Corsair 550W CX550 PSU MSI B450-a Pro Max ATX
