Hello everyone, I'm having some trouble with my brothers PC that I built recently, its been working perfectly until around 3 weeks ago, where he told me that after waking up from sleep, the screen would freeze on the lock/log in screen, no mouse movement/no typing. The only way to get it to respond again is to turn off the computer and turn off the PSU for about 5 sceonds then start it up again and everything was fine. Once this happened, another forum suggested turning off fast startup and changing some power settings like not allowing the pc to turn off devices to save power, this seemed to solve the issue up until last night where the same thing happened again.
I have noticed that if I try to turn off the computer by holding the power button, it restarts on its own but then no image is displayed on the monitor, which is why I need to turn off the PSU. I'm not sure if the PC fully posts when it does this as the fans never settle.
I'm not sure what to do to fix this issue as it happens randomly and has occured only two maybe three times, any suggestions you have would be appreciated.
