  1. I'm trying to make watching One Piece easier for my gf by combining multiple episodes in like 4 hours version to watch instead (while also cutting out op/ed/repeating parts). I downloaded all the episodes, but the problem i have is that they are .mkv files with .ass subtitles that aren't hardcoded. The subtitles also are already somehow inside the .mkv file so i don't have a separate file for subtitles. What i'm hoping to do is either: a) find a video editor that opens .mkv files together with their subtitles, i tried OpenShot/Sony Vegas but it doesn't load subtitles b) find a way to extract subtitles from .mkv file, preferably as they are so that i don't have to sync them later and use some tool to hardcode the .mkv and subtitles, then combine the hardcoded ones in some simple video edtior Can you guys help me?
  2. You're right, thank you! I installed my motherboard realtek drivers, and now both of them are being detected and i can freely swap between them too. Now i have a different issue though, i want to boost my headphones to be louder because i don't have an amplifier and realtek audio console has this option: The problem is that it's detecting my headphones as speakers, and speakers as headphones so it doesn't give me that option for headphones but does for speakers. It's probably detecting it like that because i'm connecting headphones to the rear and speakers to the front. Any way to fix this?
  3. I'm officially losing my mind. Yesterday i switched from Logitech G633 Headset that i connected to my PC with USB to a DT 770 Pro that requires a 3.5mm jack connection. The problem is that i also have speakers that require one 3.5mm jack connection, so one would think it's as simple as connecting headset to the front panel and speakers to the rear panel. But both my headset and speakers get recognized as Now it seems like both of them are connected, but recognized as the same device. My headphones work, but the speakers don't. I disconnect headphones, speakers start working and giving sound. I disconnect speakers, headphones keep working and giving sound. My board is Aorus Master Z390, anyone could please help me out?
  4. I am building a new PC from the parts i ordered, one of them is a case Cooler Master H500M and it has 4x USB 3.0 Ports on front panel. There are 2 cables for those ports, meaning one cable is powering 2 ports and another one is powering the other 2. My motherboard Z390 Aorus Master has only 1 USB 3.0 port available internally, what would you recommend me to do in this situation? Is there any way to like maybe connect both of those cables into 1 usb 3.0 port and would that be safe? Or maybe dumbing it down to 2.0 because i have a 2.0 port free internally on the card?
  5. I don't need more than 32, but the current 16 is occassionally becoming borderline not enough for me already. So it only makes sense to me that i would want 32 now that i'm upgrading to a new machine, since i want to future-proof that PC as well and not upgrade RAM in a year or year and a half. I play cpu-intensive games competitively, difference of ram speed is quite significant on 1080p in those games. You get around 20% performance in minimum and average fps when comparing 3200 to 4000 MHz. For competitive gaming on high refresh monitor this purchase makes sense to me. And the one i picked above is the only low effective latency RAM with high speed that is on QVL list of my mobo. By all means i am listening and appreciate every reply and the time you spend helping me here, i'm just pretty much set on the RAM for my own reasons. What caught my attention though was SavageNeo mentioning a better version of RTX 2080 Super, is there actually any difference between them? I was always confused on the different versions being released and how they compare to each other.
  6. Thanks, but i did quite a lot of research and that was the build i ended up with. I already picked the parts, the reason i created the thread was mostly to just confirm that they are compatible and there won't be any issues. I tend to have chrome open non-stop and on my current machine it's eating me 6 GB of RAM on it's own right this moment. I have the tendency of pinning tabs that i use on daily basis and right now alone i probably have around 60 tabs open. Plus i often use virtual machines for work, so in some situations where i have VMs, Chrome and a game open my RAM is at a very high usage and i got 16 GB right now, so i feel like 32 GB makes sense to me.
  7. So i made this build myself and wondering if everything will be compatible? Also my case has 2x 200mm fans and led control and i may expand to add more fans in future, and plan on overclocking CPU to 5.0 on all cores and plan on overclocking GPU as well. Will 850W PSU be enough in this build with overclock or should i opt in for a 1000W just to be secure? 8. I went Windows -> Disk Cleanup Then it asks me for which one i want to cleanup, i choose C:/ and it gives me a bunch of options at that point. Some of them are automatically checked, but i have checked a few more that i can't remember, but i believe i did check to compress files of operating system, maybe that's the reason the icons got the arrows?
  9. I had an issue that is now resolved, one of troubleshooting steps was to use disk cleanup process and i did, but seems that i have clicked to compress disk C:/ without knowing the results of that. Now most of icons on my PC have these blue arrows on it: Should i be worried about this? Is there any chance of data loss? I honestly did that entire disk cleanup process only because it was one of ways to resolve another issue i had on my PC. If it's possible, i would like to "uncompress" everything so it's back to normal and there's no blue arrows. I did notice though that a lot of things work significantly smoother / quicker, including just simple windows10 explorer menus on desktop, right clicking and stuff.
  10. Really appreciate your reply, everything makes sense now. I guess nothing stops me then from running the current monitor i have through DVI-D Dual Link cable and new one through DisplayPort to achieve 144 Hz on both and G-Sync on the main one. Once again thank you very much!
  11. Hey there, I currently have only one monitor Benq 24" LED XL2420G NVIDIA G-Sync connected to my ASUS Strix GeForce GTX 970 through DisplayPort and running on 1080p 144 Hz. I want to buy a second one but i also want both of them running at 144 Hz. I am not good with tech but did my research and i think it will work, but i'd appreciate if someone with more experience confirms. My graphic card has 1x DisplayPort, 1x HDMI 2.0, 1x DVI-I and 1x DVI-D. My current monitor has 1x DisplayPort, 2x HDMI, 1x DVI I did research that i can run 144 Hz on DVI-D Dual Link, so technically i could connect my new monitor through DisplayPort and the current one to DVI-D Dual Link and run both on 144 Hz. Am i correct on that? Also, i am confused with naming of DVI. I apparently need exactly DVI-D Dual Link, not anything else (DVI-I, Single links etc.), will this socket work? I am slightly confused, because in all specifications my graphic card socket is listed as DVI-D but for my monitor it's listed as DVI without the "-D". Are they the same? Also, i will most likely be buying a G-Sync monitor again but it works only on DisplayPort. I plan on making my current monitor into a secondary one, and the new one as my primary for gaming. I won't be playing games on the secondary one, so i don't really mind not having G-Sync on it, but i have read somewhere that G-Sync monitors are built so 144 Hz on them can be activated only through DisplayPort. Is that true? Will i not be able to get 144 Hz on DVI connection on it because it has G-Sync that i won't be utilizing? Sorry for long post, appreciate all help!
