  1. it'll be 15000-18000k in IDR, and my reference online store is tokopedia.com and bukalapak.com
  2. Some details are already in first paragraph. And thanks for your input anyway. BTW are those entry level IPS better than TN monitors? I heard several laptops use cheap and ugly TN monitors Oh and my budget is at most $1200 and I reside in Indonesia yeah that's one of my concern as well with that combination
  3. Yeah, that's the issue with picking a laptop That means I should not worry about whether i use the Kaby Lake or Coffee Lake chips right? After all, I've been stuck with an AMD FX 7600 laptop anyway
  4. So I'm deciding to buy a laptop with budget around $1000 and the workload would be gaming/CAD design/simulations and my main priorities are the processor and the GPU. I'm okay if i only have 8 GB of RAM, an HDD drive, low battery capacity, or ended up carrying whatever computer they used to launch Apollo 11 in my backpack. My expected lifetime of the new laptop would be at least 4 years. So far, my choices are: ASUS FX504GE (i7-8750H, GTX1050Ti) (Reviewers says too many to sacrifice for a 120Hz display) Dell G7 7588 (i7-8750H, GTX1050Ti) (or should I get the 1060 Max-Q model? And it's not officially released yet here in Indonesia) MSI GP62M 7RFX (i7-7700HQ, GTX1060) Lenovo Y720 (i7-7700HQ, GTX1060) My question is: Is it worth it to trade off i7-8750HQ to get the GTX1060? Hence, is it still OK to buy last year model? Any issues that i should aware of before buying one of those laptops? What are other alternatives besides of those above? This might not be the best way to introduce myself in this forum, but hey at least i hope we could get along. Thanks!
