  1. Your prolly gonna be limited from that last lil bit bc your gpu uses only 1 8 pin connector
  2. ahh your trading on amd huh? if your on a budget i would def get a ryzen put that extra money into your gpu... but either way if your just a gamer then intel is better... ryzen will play anything tho. An a gpu bigger than a 1060 would be good for a long time. 1070 ti make sure you get a good cooler on your pascal gpu its got sick headroom if you keep it cool
  3. Also depending on how far updated the bios is they have an option with some to update from inside windows.. dont know if its safer or not. If you have a good mobo you should be fine tho... id stay away from gigabyte have had sooo much issues fried my last am4 giga even tho it had a 2nd bios switch... an still didnt work lol usually the backup bios is a good thing to have... when it works. do your research an make sure there is anything to really be gained by updating... like especially with ryzen you need to make sure your running your ddr4 at its top speed and an outdated bios could mess that up if you got fast ram.
  4. I believe intel would lose single core performance if they push many more cores like how a xeon fairs against a i7, xeon destroys in multi thread but eats it in single... its just bc it would require alot more power and generate alot of heat. I dont really think anything more than the 6c/12t is even necessary atm its pretty solid all around.. still needa lower that price tag tho then it would be without question all around winner.
