  1. Do you think that applying new thermal compound would change anything? I am currently using the one that comes pre applied
  2. Ok, thank you. I am going to try running the ram at 3200mhz
  3. I have 3 system fans, one in the back, pushing the air out, two in the front pulling the air in. I haven't overclocked anything yet. BTW thanks for the help
  4. Hello there, I was wondering if I should be worried about my CPU (amd ryzen 3700x) temperatures being at 92-94C for a few hours. Shouldn't the CPU be throttling at these temperatures? I am using the default wraith cooler. My Idle temperatures seem to be around 50-60C. Thanks
  5. Yeah, I have been watching prices and availability and might consider buying a rtx 2070super or rtx 2060 super or rx5700xt. I haven't bought one yet because I am currently mostly playing less gpu demanding indie games and haven't found a great deal (in Germany) yet.
  6. I what position did you put your ram?
  7. I have 2x8 GB ram sticks in position 2 and 4.
  8. I fixed my issue by changing the port of the boot drive, the one I choose first must not have been working or something.
  9. I have (maybe?) the same issue with an ryzen 7 3700x, b450 msi thomahok max, 500gb 750 Evo Samsung ssd, 16 gb Corsair 3200mhz cl16, 2tb Toshiba HDD and rx480. My PC takes MINUTES to boot and programs keep freezing for a while. But after restarting a couple times it works, but when I start again at a later time the same thing happens. I am also getting various drive errors at times.
  10. What about the 650 Watt Seasonic Focus GX 80 Plus Gold for € 88,90?
  11. Thanks for the help, would this be an good option? 16GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo DDR4-3600 DIMM CL16 Dual Kit for € 122,80 or should I go for the 16GB G.Skill RipJaws V DDR4-3200 DIMM CL16 Dual Kit for € 100,47? (In order to save some money
  12. I would probably go for something like a 2070 super or rx 5700
  13. Thanks for the advice, do you think keeping the old psu would be an option?
  14. I currently have a desktop pc, with an amd fx-8320 "eight-core" processor 3.50GHz, 16GB of DDR3 ram, and a rx 480. Furthermore I have a 2TB hdd and a 500gb samsung sata ssd. I use an 4k 60hz monitor. This is what I am looking to upgrade to: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX AM4 € 105,90* 500 Watt be quiet! SFX-L Power Modular 80+ Gold € 89,10* 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX für AMD schwarz DDR4-3600 DIMM CL18 Dual Kit € 98,84* AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8x 3.60GHz So.AM4 BOX € 289,00* (I will upgrade my gpu later, when my budget allows it :)) I just wanted to make sure that this is an good idea and that I am not doing anything terribly wrong.
