  1. Its an old dell ultrabook. I can get a new battery its really only poor because of the many many many cycles its been through. The question really should be do I buy a new battery or a new computer. I don't think this one will last very long
  2. yeah I am using an ssd but I was wondering if my laptop is worth upgrading while. Its doing fine for my schoolwork and such but I was wondering if I should upgrade to make it better for schoolwork and to upgrade my battery because I have to keep the cord on me at all times.
  3. right now I use it for school and some real old school gaming like doom and civilization. Im looking to join the pc master race for gaming but right now I want a laptop with real good battery life. Im looking at the xps lineup from last and current gen.
  4. so is the performance from an old gen processor really worth the trade off for cost. the laptop I'm looking to buy has a fourth generation i5 (i5-4310U) is it really worth the extra hundreds to buy a new generation one.
  5. I have been looking at some refurbished dell laptops. They all seem to be very lightly used and the given back for the newest generation. I think I’m gonna get those thank you
  6. I was thinking of the lenovo n22 a cheap low powered chromebook. Or spending a little more for the new aspire e 15. Either way im gonna do some upgrades to make them last longer.
  7. See I am having trouble with something. I am debating whether to get low cost windows or low cost chrome OS. I want to use it for some retro games here and there but mostly school work and web browsing. Any suggestions for laptops too would be much appreciated.
  8. I am considering that but I really would like a new laptop. I like that out of the box feeling and I am looking for those ones first. Thanks for the suggestion though
  9. hey so I'm currently in the market to find a "capable laptop" thats under 400 and at max 500 us. if anybody could help me find something for about that price. I really am using this for school and maybe some retro gaming but thats it
