  1. So it turns out i fowarded port 19132 as tcp and bedrock uses upd. So its working now figured up update this incase anyone else runs into this issue later. Thanks for the help.
  2. Thanks for the help it atleast has me pointed in a direction gotta figure out why port 19132 isnt open and check the plugins.
  3. Sorry for the late response but yes i can connect to the server remotely with java cilents.
  4. Im giving my public ip address. Its a dynamic ip that i cannot change to static. I might have misunderstood what ports needed to be opened for floodgate and geyser to work but im only running one server. Port 25565 is open but 19132 says closed. Both ports are opened and set to the local ip of my server in my router settings. I have not checked the java version outside of my local internet. I will try that as soon i am able.
  5. i just finished setting up a mc server and can connect locally how no one else can join. i have geyser and floodgate plugins and both java and bedrock clients can join if they are on my network how ever they fail to connect if they are anywhere else. i have port forwarded both 25565 and port 19132. I have checked to make sure it is not set to white list only aswell. I'm not sure what info is needed but i will provide any necessary.
  6. That was my last ditch just need to get some soldier wick and flux. Pull the good one and replace the bad one worst case im out 130$ for a new drive.
  7. Yeah i figured that would be the case but i wasnt sure if there was a way to flash the firmware or not. The boards look identical same chips and traces so i was hoping there might be a way around it. Would love to get the exact one i need but i cant find it anywhere.
  8. I dont see any fans in the pictures you posted. The cpu coolers rely on case airflow to cool them if any case fans die they need to be replaced asap. And easy way to check if it is a thermal issue would be to run prime95 and hwmonitor and see what the temps are.
  9. May be a dumb question but have you tried reseating your cpu and if you had to remove you ram i would suggest doing those aswell. Also what os are you using?
  10. May not be much help but do you know if it was used for mining? And have you tried other outputs on the gpu
  11. Hey so i have a toshiba x300 5Tb hdd and the plastic bit on the sata power connector broke off. I ordered a replacment board on ebay and didnt realise that it was for the 4tb version (idk if thats important or not) when i swaped the boards out the device starts to show up and says it needs to be initialized. When i initialize it the hdd dissapears. Not sure whats going on there and im very new to soldering and figured id check here and see if there is anything else to try first. I dont care if the data is lost its mostly steam games anyways just want the drive to work again. Thanks in advance and if you need any more info id be glad to give it.
  12. Sorry for the late response but this is the one i plan to use. https://www.ebay.com/itm/193164972368
  13. That would be ideal but the sata to pcie adapter can supply at most 54w and pcie is another 75 which it a little close to the 120 watts i need for the m4000. I wanted to make sure that if i had to use both sata power cables there would still be a way to boot it. As for iscsi ill have to do some research since i know almost nothing about it.
  14. Yeah those parts should be more than enough power for what your playing. However I would highly recomend a different psu. Power supplies are not something to try to save money on. I would suggest something from evga, corsair or seasonic. A cheap psu could (not often but still possible) cause your pc to short out and end up with dead hardware.
  15. Im currently playing with the idea of getting a hyve zeus and a quadro m4000 to use as a plex and a poor mans game server using steam link. I need to use at least 1 of the sata power cables to adapt to pcie as the m4000 needs 120watts. That will leave me at most 1 2.5in sata drive for boot and games. I am currently using a dell r710 as a nas and plex server. My questions are does the hyve zeus support network booting and is it a bad idea to try to put steam games on a nas. If there is anything else i may have overlooked as to compatibility and such feel free to let me know.
