Dear reader I'm a bit new in the whole computer building. There is a lot of choice in the RAM department. What RAM frequency do you recommend using in combination with a i7-8700K and GTX 1080

right now I'm rocking a 770 and it depends because if I should believe this new generation is coming as early as august that would be fine but nothing is annouced yet. So I actually have no idea of how long of a wait it would be.

Dear reader I'm going to build myself a new rig but would love to hear your comments and suggestions first. I have a JPG from PC partpicker of the system I had in mind.

Dear reader I am going to build a new gaming rig, but I'm not sure about the graphics card. I thought to maybe go for the GTX 1080 but I kinda feel like wasting money, with the "speculations" about the new generation of cards from Nvidea coming soon. Do you think it's still a good idea to buy a 1080. If so how long am I going to be able to play games on it (settings to high at 1440p).
