  1. Hi guys, I am about to acquire an Optane Module 32gb. As W10 64bits requires 20gb available, do I have everything to win by installing windows on my Optane module? Bests, Guillaume
  2. With the RTX getting out very soon, is now a good timing to purchase one in your opinion? Or should I wait the release of the RTX?
  3. To people that read this later on: A faulty cable on my PSU was the issue.
  4. Hello people, I have put my hands on a small budget and I want to give my PC a little kick for gaming purposes (Tarkov, Dayz, PUBG, WW3 etc.). I would like to know what you would buy with a 500€ budget to replace item(s) on this list: GPU : Asus GeForce GTX 1060 DUAL-GTX1060-O3G 3072 Mt CPU : Intel Core i5-7600K 3,8 GHz LGA1151 RAM : Crucial Ballistix Elite DDR4 2666 MHz 16 Gt (2 x 8 Gt) Motherboard : Asus PRIME Z270-P Intel Z270 LGA1151 ATX Storage : Kingston UV400 480 Gt SSD 2,5" SSD WD Blue 1 TB SATA3 7200RPM 64 MB 3,5" Case : NZXT S340 Mid Tower ATX CPU cooler : Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML120L PSU : Seasonic Focus Plus 750 Gold Thanks in advance for your help! G
  5. Update, The problem is probably from the GPU as CPU stress tests work fine, but FurMark makes my PC crash after 15mns. Temperatures did not go above 76 degrees however. Could my GPU be dead? What should I try?
  6. Thanks a lot I will run that test tonight! I will keep you posted with the results.
  7. Nothing is overclocked anymore inside my build. It used to be and worked fine but ever since this happened everything is back to safety settings. I would try it for sure but my worry is that if I spend in a new PSU and it is not the issue it would be a big waste of money.
  8. That's what I fear. What bugs me is that it just started to do so. And it does it more and more often. It first did it in September, and now it is worse and worse. Could it be the thermal paste that would be poorly applied? But if so how come it gets worse?
  9. But if the choice of PSU was the problem my PC would not have run great for two years and suddenly start to randomly restart I think. A faulty PSU could be it but the wrong PSU not so sure. My PC consumption is under 400w according to my calculations.
  10. Hello everyone, I really need your help, I get random restarts when I game. Not for games like League of Legends, but any FPS or Game that requires more power it restarts randomly. I stress tested my CPU with aida64 all night long and it did not restart, temperatures from any component never goes above 75degrees Celsius (on load). Which makes me believe it could be my GPU then? Here are my specs: i5-7600k : Link GTX1060 3gb Asus : Link Z-270P motherboard : Link 2 intake front fans corsair AF120 Quiet : Link 1 exhaust and 1 intake fan (rear and top) FN v2 : Link Arctic freezer i11 CPU cooler : Link Please let me know of any tips, here are some things I have already done: Plug directly to the wall Checked my RAM with windows memory diagnostic Help would be highly appreciated, what should I do now?
  11. Well I keep having random restarts. But ONLY when gaming. I stressed tested my PC with Aida64 all night long and it never restarted. This means it is not the CPU heating too much right?
  12. This is the next area I am about to look into. My PC just restarted two times since my last post. Once playing Fortnite and once playing Totally Accurate Battlegrounds. Both are low in terms of CPU load so I don't get it. I also had an alarm set to Warn me if temperature went above 80degrees Celsius and it did not ring. Here is attached a report from OCCT when testing power supply. You will find as well a HWMonitor report. Is there any valuable information there?
  13. Thanks a lot for the replies! I really spent a lot on time on checking the contact and thermal compound so I would definitely get that variable off. I really appreciate your fast answers, I think I will simply get a MasterCooler ML120L (Link), in your opinions that would drop drastically the temperatures right?
  14. I have already remounted the cooler (a month ago), if let's say I messed with the thermal paste however, the temperatures would go much higher right?
