  1. With all the troubleshooting I did, I came to the conclusion that the subwoofer/amplifier is the problem.
  2. Yes, sometimes even if i dont move the wires and jack it plays sound.
  3. Hi! I recently bought a Logitech z313 speakers because I need a speaker system for my mini work station at home. I did all the research and watched reviews about and was totally convinced of its value given at its price point. However, upon purchase my unit only has audio playing from the left speaker. I connected all the ports to their respective slots and even tried a different wall outlet but still the same result. The speaker system is connected to my laptop's 3.5mm combo jack, i tried plugging it to my smartphone and the same thing still happens. Bass is playing, audio from the left speaker is playing but the right speaker is quiet. Nothing at all. The weird thing is if i plug-unplug the 3.5mm jack to my laptop sometimes it works but most of the time it doesnt, like 3% of the time left and right speaker is playing audio and 97% of the time only the left speaker is working. Anyone else has encountered this issue? Thank you and Good Day!

    HS50 Microphone Issue

I think it has something to do with the combo jack. I don't have a system to prove this theory though.

    HS50 Microphone Issue

I hope someone can help me with this. Thank you!
  6. I just bought a brand new Corsair HS50 Headset. The build quality is superb, the audio is great, the microphone is decent. The whole package is a great deal for around 50-56 USD. HOWEVER, The microphone picks up any audio that is playing through the headset. Say, I am listening to music while recording speech using the HS50 Microphone it also picks up the music. When playing games specifically Rules of Survival it also picks up the audio that is playing through the headset. I want to know if this is hardware issue or software. I am using Asus x542UQ laptop Combo 3.5mm Jack WIndows 10, 64-bit
  7. Youve mentioned that your laptop has only one 3.5mm jack, correct? Make sure that that jack is a "combo jack" or more commonly known as "2 in 1 jack, if it is not then that jack is only for audio. Test it out first then let us know
  8. Ok thanks for your input. About the undervolting, is it adviseable for someone who knows very little with computers? Why should I do it?
  9. I am trying to upgrade ram but I dont know whice one to put, hence the thread. Can I undervolt my CPU and GPU on a Laptop?
  10. Yes, there is an empty slot for ram upgrade. I am really going for the 8gb SODIMM, my question is, is it okay to add 8gb even if my other stick 4gb already? So are you saying that even if I upgrade my RAM it wouldnt help in the performance for Fortnite?
  11. Hi! I've been using my Asus X542UQ Laptop for half a year now. It somehow seems getting sluggish and slow so I figured its time to upgrade the ram. I've did my research but because I barely know anything about upgrading and repairing computers/laptops I've decided to post here. My laptop specs are as follows -Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8250U @ 1.60GHz 1.80GHz -Windows 10 64bit -Geforce 940MX 2gb -1tb HDD -DDR4 4GB 2400MHz SODIMM My questions are: 1. Can I upgrade my ram? (The seller at the store said that this laptop has 2 slots for RAM but the 1st is soldered and the 2nd is vacant) 2. If yes, will it work if I add 12gb or atleast 8gb? (According to Asus website my laptop can handle up to 16GB of memory) 4. Or is it better if I just add a 4gb stick? 5. Will it be worth the money and time if I only add in 4gb? (I use my laptop for Office applications, web browsing using Chrome, games[Dota 2, Rules of Survival, Starcraft 2, Fortnite althought I cant play well because it lags when in fights] and the occassional Adobe Photoshop CC) Basically I want to upgrade my RAM because... ...I feel like my laptop is getting slow when i have 5++ tabs in chrome open ...switching between apps seems kinda slow ...can't play Fortnite because it drops frames especially when dropping down from the bus and when in gunfights ...I want to try my hand in editing videos for my personal use. Attached are screenshots of my specs using CPU-Z
