  1. So what about tablets that have hdmi ports and thunderbolt ports?
  2. So I looked a little but further, I searched "does android support external gpu's?" Basically you would need a custom driver which doesn't exist yet? I think. I've heard of installing android on your computer though so not sure if Google already has a small driver somewhere for support of at least a few gpu's. As a product, this could be very interesting. I love using splashtop on my phone and plugging it into my tv and using a mouse and keyboard to control it from the clutch, it's very useful and very portable but if Google were to make some sort of dock (like the Nintendo switch) you could plug in your phone, turn off the phone display to save power, and restart android with the installed external GPU next to your tv? Does anybody who works at Google wants to pitch this idea? Lol
  3. So I have a new phone, it's the s8 active, and with all new samsung phones comes a handy dandy otg adapter(usb type c Male to usb 3.0 female). After looking at my grafics card sitting on a riser, I wondered what would happen if I powered the card up and ran the usb not into my computer but instead into my samsung s8? Would I be able to use it as a display adapter to my TV without having to get a hdmi adapter? Can you edit your android settings on your phone to use the graphics card to put out more frames? More pixels? (Currently my phone can put out wqhd through the usb-c charge port, but only at a sad 30fps, and no 4k when I plug it into my 4k tv.) Has anyone tried this? Can you root your android operating system to make it work? Does android even support pcie grafic cards? Haven't seen anything yet online
