orginally i bought these servers off ebay dirt cheap, tho getting parts for replacment is a bit hard, 350 for the server + all the upgrades over time, do i need 64 cores? no its a hobby and i do a lot of VMs, i priced a used board + RAID controller + cables needed for another board that will work for around 450 so i can use all the ram i have + CPU's and the likes and switching up my AMD system for intel is something i'd like to avoid -

yeah the server itself minus the CPU's RAM and HDD's ran me about 300 waiting for the orginal seller to list them on ebay again so i can more or less get it and swap stuff over, 4x16-core CPU's, 128GB registered ECC DDR3 1333MHz along with 2x120GB SSD's (OS/Boot) and 6x3TB spinning rust drives, Linus has the board or did for 1 of his projects and wonder if he'd sell it tp me for cheap or a payment program of some sort as i want to get my main server up and running, being on one of my other servers is just not good as 2 hours before this died i did manage to backup the4 OS drives but not the main storage drives and atm i have no way to get the data off them as LSI MR RAID setup on them and dont have an add-in card to retrieve the data, tho not much on them that i dont have elsewhere except maybe 1TB of stuff so for now just kinda out of luck bought this server in 2016 and there is more bound to be floating around but just wow dident expect this to just die on me -

looks like 1 of my servers took a poo with a Supermicro H8QG6-F Quad Socket G34, rebooted and it never came back, powers on, fans spin, power led and all other lights dont turn on like they should, i know linus had a board not sure what he did with it and i am lacking funding right now to get a replacment so i am at a major loss any help on things i should try besides taking all the CPU's out and ram and PCIe cards as i've already swapped them around to no luck
