    The HD7750 or a t50ti should do fine. Although I have a core 2 duo e7500 annd it feels like the hd7750 is being bottlenecked.

    I would rather spend a bit extra on the graphics card and it looks like a few applications I use actually take advantages of extra cores.

    Oh ok, I might as well get the AMD option then.

    Just wondering, does it slow it down? As I might get an 8320 instead of the intel option. The only problem is the amd options all have pcie 2.0 and the one that has 3.0 is £189.99 here.

    Faster rendering times, I would say.

    I did a bit of research and I would probably overclock to about 4.5ghz/1.2volts. Seems pretty average with the cpu I will be using, the 4770k.

    I honestly don't need the features of a high end board, so which 1150 motherboard would you recommend? Thanks.

    You could strap your pc to the back of your monitor, probably not what you're looking for though. Try sony, they gave a good range.
