  1. Perhaps this would be a better option--getting a D15 or D15S and for the second fan using a chromax NF-F12 for increased clearance. I have heard it has good static pressure. If only they made the NF-A12x25 in chromax but the materials are sensitive to dye apparently.
  2. Problem is that the D15S doesn't provide enough clearance for the ram if I configure it like I intend with two fans.
  3. Using a GIGABYTE Z270XP-SLI. Full ATX.
  4. Yes. And I do have a new display cable due to the awful quality of the included one. Found the reason in another post here. It is because G-SYNC requires a display supporting DisplayPort 1.2a or better, 1.2 or worse won't work.
  5. Looking to replace my be quiet! Dark Rock 3 with a Noctua NH-D15 to get better overclocking headroom on my 7700k that I've recently delidded. I want to get the NH-D15 with the cooling tower caps in white and black replacement fans to fit my system theme. However, both the NH-D15 and NH-D15S do not give enough clearance for my Corsair Vengeance LED ram, which is 49mm(?), with a fan installed on the front of the right fin tower. I want to know that the cooler I get will be compatible with my system before ordering, so I wanted to ask if it would be reasonable and worth it to move the fan that interferes with the ram to the left fin tower AKA the side closest to the case exhaust.
  6. Running windows 10, GTX 1080Ti, Pixio PX347C with Freesync connected with DisplayPort, and latest drivers. Still no option in NVidia control panel to set up G-SYNC. Tried enabling and disabling Freesync in monitor settings already.
  7. Here are some pictures from outside my case. Can get closer if you need. As you can see in picture 2, fan is blowing down on the gpu.
  8. Hello, I just modded my ZOTAC GTX 1060 3GB mini by taking off the plastic shroud and replacing the tiny fan on it with a 120mm case fan ziptied on to the top of the heatsink. Can anyone tell my why my temps are so much worse? I expected the opposite to happen. Can submit pictures of my card if needed.
