Okey, after sending the GPU over and getting a new one I have the same issue, I'll try a ghetto thing. I'll get the big PSU and only use the pci-e connectors, if it works I'll buy another PSU.... I'm open to any ideas that can help me test the system...

Well, I know that FPS drop during the graphical intensive moments, I have two rigs. On RIG A, the game runs smoothly at 60FPS with no drops what so ever, on RIG B it runs at 60FPS and drops during games. RIG A RIG B

Having 4G could be the reason? That makes no sense to me, could someone explain me why, please?
-
Hi haven't tried any other games, I'll swap the GPU from my main rig to that on and test it on my main rig. Thanks!
-
Playing League of Legends. Sorry thought I did say...

Having it capped to 60 makes it more stable but still... It drops on these intensive moments.. When uncapped, on the rig I'm posting about it gets to 160 and goes up and down, to 90 or even 70... And then it drops to 14 fps or so for two seconds during the graphically intensive moments, then goes back up and repeats...

UPDATE: RIG:

Yes, not so sure about the BIOS on the MOBO...
-
Oh, ok! I was completely wrong on that then! xS! THX for the info! EDIT: I have another system with a R9 270X and I have no problems, (CPU: 8150, same RAM, 700W 80+ gold PSU)

I have 4Gigs of DDR3 CL7 single channel ATM (1x4G) Yep, FPS drop from 60 to 14/15 then go back to normal in 3 seconds or so.. Well, having a mid/low end MOBO with that GPU is no good, so what I mean is that the MOBO is holding back the GPU. Also, the monitor I'm using is a VGA.

Hi guys! I'll make it short: Just bought a new GPU, and I know its being bottlenecked by the MOBO and RAM. So I changed the RAM, it helped a little bit.. But it still has huge FPS during games (the computer is only used for LoL) during the game it has stable 60 FPS, but when it gets to "team fighting" (where all the "action" happens). I'm wandering if the PSU is affecting so hugely. Specs: CPU: I7-2700K GPU: R9 270X MOBO: Mid-Range MOBO (cant tell you the chipset ATM) PSU: 500W (Generic) Just want to know what do you think, I dont want to buy a new MOBO (yet at least) if I can just buy a PSU for now...

So then, which one should i pick, with a difference of 50€.. (being the 760 more expensive) PD: Thax for ur help!
-
Hi and thanks, yes I would be gaming... Checking on both cards I see some differences: · 280X has a bandwith of 384 meanwhile the 770 has a bandwith of 256. · 280X has 3GB of VRAM, 770 has 2GB of VRAM · 280 has OpenGL 11.2, 770 has 11.1 ¿So seeing these differences what would u do? ¿Go for the extra Gig and bandwith or maybe go for the G-Sync (even knowing it will need a new display) and that 20 min shadow play...?

So then I have a GA-990FXA-UD5 MoBo and a FX-8150@4.2, I'm planning on upgrading soon. My budget is round the 300€ (I live in Spain) thought about the R9 280x. Any recommendations?
