  2. alright thanks I will try that second option as I already did the first one.
  3. Hi so I am putting together a computer and I install all the parts I have double and tripple checked all plug ins and I have got everything installed correctly but my pc will not boot it wont go into bios or anything. I am worried it might be my power supply as the motherboard has 3 4pin psu connections in the top left and my power supply only has 2 4pin connectors. other than that I am not sure what it would be. I know my mother board it getting power because I can get all my case fans to power up and spin and their led's come on but other than that it wont do anything. Also it will stay on for like 30 seconds then reset. I have made sure everything was put in all the way so no connections were half in. here is my full part list (I have a temporary gpu so its not included in the part list as im only using it until I get a new one and I dont feel as if its relevant because I know it works because its been in another pc for months now) PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant Type Item Price CPU AMD - Ryzen 7 1700X 3.4 GHz 8-Core Processor $193.00 CPU Cooler Cooler Master - MasterAir MA410P 66.7 CFM CPU Cooler $34.99 @ Newegg Business Motherboard ASRock - X470 Master SLI/AC ATX AM4 Motherboard $143.88 @ OutletPC Memory G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory $114.00 Storage Kingston - UV500 120 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive $37.89 @ OutletPC Storage Western Digital - Blue 2 TB 3.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive $61.89 @ OutletPC Case Cooler Master - MasterBox MB600L ATX Mid Tower Case $45.98 @ Newegg Power Supply Rosewill - Capstone 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply $50.00 Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total (before mail-in rebates) $711.63 Mail-in rebates -$30.00 Total $681.63 Generated by PCPartPicker 2018-12-07 08:23 EST-0500
  4. The ram is mostly at that speed because I have watched a lot of videos and seen benchmarks that show improved performance with with higher speed ram. and the harddrive is going to only have my operating system and drivers installed on it. I do not plan on using the ssd for storage for games at all thats why I am keeping it at 120gb.
  5. Well if I can find a full atx motherboard without adding to much more money I might consider that because I am wanting to get a motherboard that is compatible with upgrading in the future without changing the motherboard.
  6. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/MBqBLJ So this is my build that I plan on doing from pcpartpicker. I have a power supply that is just fine and I also have an operating system already. I am trying to keep my build under 600$ and I have it that way but I wanna be sure everything ive got picked out is good choices. I do plan on getting a higher resolution monitor but I am not worried about it until I can get a computer that can actually make use of it. I am not worried about mouse and keyboard I have them already.
