  1. i have fTPM enabled and i thought i enabled secure boot before i installed win11 but maybe im recalling wrong. kinda blows becasue windows has been operating just fine without secure boot enabled. gonna update bios and see if that helps
  2. windows11, ive heard some people saying you need to set the setting in the bios before you install 11. my next step is to upgrade my bios and see if that works. if that doesnt work im just gonna do a fresh install with secure boot enabled before i install
  3. So me and a few friends wanted to play CSGO on a 3rd party matchmaking service (faceit) and to use the anticheat for the 3rd party service i had to enable secure boot. i disabled CSM and enabled secure boot, but when i did my pc got stuck in a boot loop. i reset the CMOS battery and i got it to start back up but i cant get secure boot to activate without it getting stuck in a boot loop. my boot drive is set to GPT and ive tried just about anything i can find on the internet pertaining to this issue specs: amd ryzen2700x rx470 24gb gskill 2400mhz ram (i know it slow pls dont flame me for it) b450 aorus elite motherboaard 600w power supply and if it matters my boot drive is a ADATA 128gb m.2 SSD any help is appreciated thanks
  4. SPECS CPU: AMD Ryzen 2700x GPU: gigabyte RX 470 (not sure of exact model) MOBO: aorus b450 elite RAM : 24 gb 2666 mhz (its slow i know i was on a budget when i got this pc and never got around to fixing it) PSU: evga 600br So,around 1 month ago i started having a issue where my AMD drivers wouldn't launch on startup (monitor back to 60hz instead 144hz, and radeon driver application not showing up on system tray). when i tried launching it'll say "No AMD driver is installed, or the AMD driver is not functioning properly. Please install the AMD driver appropriate for your AMD hardware". When i look in my device manager my GPU is not enabled, and if i enable it manually it pulls up the AMD bug report tool telling me the drivers cant initialize properly. After it first started happening i used the amd driver installer to uninstall and reinstall the drivers which didn't work, i used DDU to try and fix it but that didnt work either. since those both failed i decided to reinstall windows which seemed to work until tonight. i cant figure out what the problem is, Could it be a hardware issue? my gpu is pretty old and has alot of hours on it but during the two-ish week period where the drivers were working it seemed to operate just fine. any help would be super cool, thanks :)

  7. It wakes up when plugged into DP, scans the sources then cant find a signal then turns itself off. but when plugged into HDMI there is no issues
  8. Still nothing, i am running windows 10. also it seems that windows knows a monitor is connected as i can see the other monitors adjust when its plugged in via DP also my mouse will go across (not visibly but i can tell because it doesnt skip the middle monitor and takes a good amount of mouse movement to get it across ) the screen that says no signal.
  9. Not using any adapters, would also like to add that my other 2 monitors (the ones running on hdmi and dvid) get a signal and turn on fine
  10. I have 3 monitors, 2 1080p 60hz monitors running on hdmi and DVI, and then i have one 1080p 144hz monitor running on display port. i awoke from a nap to notice once my pc woke from its sleep that the middle (display port 144hz) monitor was getting no signal. i had no issues up until this point and it came out of nowhere.i hooked my main monitor to HDMI and its working fine (although only a 120 hz). ive tried all 3 DP ports on my GPU and still getting nothing. ive also re-saeated my gpu. EDIT: i forgot to mention that when i plug in the DP the monitor does wake up and scan the sources but never gets a signal. SPECS CPU RYZEN 7 2700X RAM 8GB 2666 DDR4 GPU RX 470 AORUS B450 ELITE MOBO
  11. no i cannot, it just gets stuck on the splash screen. ill just get the adapter and try that
  12. So a few months ago my SSD appeared to die on me or my windows somehow got corrupted, (ive since reinstalled windows with another drive and just unplugged the ssd) and since then if i have that SSD connected then my pc wont post at all. it will go into my MOBO splash screen then it freezes. i tired connecting it today to get some of my old files off of it but it wont post. im not sure if its trying to boot off of it because i cant even load into the boot menu when its connected. Is my drive dead? or is it just trying to boot onto a drive with a corrupted OS on it? RYZEN 2700X AORUS B450 elite 16gb ddr4 ram rx470 600watt EVGA 80+ bronze psu
