  1. for about a month or so my mouse has been disconnecting whenever i play games that push my system and cause it to get a little toasty. it's happened on elden ring (max settings), overwatch (maxed @144fps), and minecraft with shaders running (running on a 2080 and 2700x) if i take the side panel off everything goes back to normal but ive never had to do this over the couple years ive been using this setup has anyone else had similar issues and/or happen to know how to fix this?
  2. on my most recent build im having trouble installing an OS at all onto the machine. so far i have attempted to use a USB stick to install windows with the installation tool from the Microsoft website. i have also tried to use Ubuntu on a USB. i have followed several tutorials, re-seated the CPU and ram. the only thing i haven't yet done is use different drives. i have tried using different USB sticks and i keep getting fail messages from windows. and the time i attempted to install Ubuntu it froze to the point i had to turn off the power supply. I have no clue what I should try next or if I i have a dead part somewhere. any advice is appreciated
  3. is there a way to remove the write protection on a windows10 usb drive? i wanted to use it to boot Linux from as a joke i tried consulting youtube guides to no success
