The xps 9370 doesn;t have an ethernet port and thunderbolt 3 only supports up to 40gb/s, so are there any ways I could be able to use the faster broadband I have access too?

What I mean is that say 1 cable was in the top right of the 8 pin connector on one side it would be in another spot (say the middle) on the 8pin connector on the other side, would I be able to move it from the other spot to the top right of the connector or would that cause issues?
