  1. I can't quite do that, this is kinda what it looks like l My Room l Bathroom l Room Where I want my PC l Should've said that there was a bathroom there, just thought about running it on the ceiling, but then I'm worried about it being too far for the cables without degeneration
  2. So I currently have my PC in my room, and I have talked about this on a different thread (My room being too hot) but never thought of this till now. So I want to put my PC in another room, I have 2 places to put my PC. In a room about 10 feet away, and the other option is putting it in my basement which is 2 floors below where I am. But my main question is, will USB, HDMI, and Display ports travel that far without latency or signal degeneration? I cant afford much latency due to me playing competitive games Ex, CS:GO and OW. I also cant use an AC unit due to our HOA not allowing window AC units... What would be the best way of going about this though?
  3. Ok, I just did my second test stream. I was streaming for close to 2 hours testing. I think I found the sweetspot (with a few hiccups every now and then) as what Leindad say was pretty close to what my internet could push. Not sure why it was working so much better but I was comfortably streaming at 720P at 30FPS
  4. Ok, I'm going to consider it. Only problem is that where I live I can only get Comporium and they're kinda like the Evil Stepsister of Comcast
  5. Sorry I didnt make that clear enough that was my fault, by maxing out at 20 I meant that i was having to run the stream at 20 FPS. Like I said I'm sorry for not making that very clear. I had the game running at 100 FPS but I incur huge studders
  6. I started out with 3000, and worked my way down to 500 in intervals of 500. Im assuming that my PC is the issue in this, could you possibly confirm that?
  7. I´m not quite sure where to put this thread but I´m thinking this is correct, but anyways on to the point. So I want to start streaming, and my current internet connection is 83 Down and 3 Up. I´ve tested this some and the quality sucks a lot. Simply put I have to stream at 480p, 20FPS just to allow the game to run smothly on both my computer and the stream, I'm not sure if the fault is due to my PC or to my Internet, because when I do this my CPU maxes out as well as my internet. My current settings in OBS are Bitrate - 500 Encoder - Software (x264) Audio Bitrate - 64 Encoder Preset - Ultrafast Base Resolution - 1920 x 1080 Output Resolution - 680 x 480 Common FPS Value - 20 PC Specs Intel I5-7600K @ 5 GHz GTX 1080 Team Dark 16GB RAM
  8. What things will i be limited on? Slow internet speeds, poor call quality, etc...
  9. So I'm looking for a new phone, I am currently using the Samsung Galaxy S6 and I currently have their unlimited plan from a few years ago. So I really want to know if it would be possible for me to use the Oneplus 6 with Verizon, because i realized that they don't support Band 11, and I'm not sure how much that would change the performance, Thanks for any help in advanced!
  10. So yes i dont have Enough AC, Basically what happens is that the AC will run and cool the whole floor but my room heats up really high and the AC doesnt respond and i dont really want to increase the cost. But thanks for the suggestion...
  11. What are you planning on doing with your setup?
  12. In what ways would you suggest that? just open more doors and stuff?
  13. I thought about doing that but then there would be two problems, one being my PC is on the literal opposite side of the room, the ducting would be large and bulking forcing me to move my bed, and two i would have a large gaping hole going out of my window as you can see lol
  14. I hope this is the right Directory, not really sure where else to put it. So I recently just got my 1080 Yay (4 months ago) and now summer is coming up, so now that means it going to be really hot at least down here in the south. So does anyone have any ideas on how to keep my room cool while gaming//doing CAD drawings, I would consider keeping my window open but anymore at night that outside temperature is the same as my inside temperature. If anyone does have any ideas please let me know, and no i cant make my house any cooler due to an increased bill.
