  1. Hey there! I've got three monitors (2x 27" and 1x 24") and I was wondering if anyone on here has mounted their monitors to their desk with three different mounts instead of one triple monitor mount, because from what I've heard it puts too much stress on the desk and they sag easily. All the monitor mounts I've looked for don't have enough ergonomics, and I don't think that they will give me enough adjustability, so does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
  2. I've come down to two monitors for my upgrade from a 24" 1080p TN panel; ViewSonic VX2758-2KP-MHD: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/viewsonic/vx2758-2kp-mhd Pixio PX7 Prime: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/pixio/px7-prime So far I'm leaning towards the ViewSonic because it has a slightly better contrast ratio, much better black uniformity for an IPS panel and better colour gamut coverage. I'm going to be using my monitor only for gaming, and I'm looking for an upgrade in picture quality in games like Cyberpunk, The Outer Worlds, Metro Exodus etc. What's your opinion? Will the upgrade help with the picture quality of the game and make the colours less washed?
  3. Ah okay thank you for your help, last question how do you find the contrast ratio because I've seen people complaining about the contrast ratio of the GL850 being quite poor
  4. Thanks for your reply, so in your opinion do you think I should get an IPS or VA panel, and if you use an IPS panel how do you find the IPS glow in dark scenes in a dark room?
  5. So I'm looking for a new 1440p 144Hz 27" monitor, I'm coming from a TN panel 24" 1080p 144Hz monitor, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to handle the ghosting of a VA monitor. I want to use this monitor for gaming, and I'm looking to play games like Cyberpunk, Metro Exodus, Outer Worlds etc, as well as competitive games like Rainbow Six Siege. I'm leaning more towards an IPS panel monitor, because of the lack of ghosting and I want to be wowed by the colours, I'm not so much looking for great accuracy I just want to be impressed because my TN panel monitor doesn't do much justice. The issue with IPS panels from what I've read is that in dark rooms the blacks look really bad, and I'm not sure how I'll be able to handle that... Any suggestions? I've been leaning towards the LG 27GL850-B or the Acer VG270UP (which I can't find in-stock anywhere)
  6. Ah I see, do you think it’s worth it going for a more expensive board for the USB-C regardless of the fact I don’t have any USB-C technology at home?
  7. I'm buying the NZXT H510 and it has a front-panel USB-C connector, does anyone know if the "MSI B450-A PRO MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard" can facilitate the USB-C header? Or will it be just a dead port that won't have any use because the motherboard doesn't have any connectors for it? Thanks!
  8. Oh right sorry I didn’t see the PSU i wasn’t reading it properly and I’ll have a look around to see if I can find anything else, thanks again!
  9. So you think I should stick with the memory that I’ve currently chose? Also any ideas about a PSU?
  10. Okay thanks man :) any ideas about a decent PSU?
  11. So I've decided on these parts for my new build; https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/ImSicario/saved/snX3ZL I'm pretty happy with them (I still need to decide on a modular decently priced power supply and I'm not entirely sure about the motherboard) Does anyone have any suggestions for either a MOBO or PSU? And any comments about any of the other parts helps too, thanks!
