  1. Is GPU Box is required for claiming warranty of MSI GPU ?
  2. You don't have a Triple Channel motherboard. They have three or six memory slots.By adding a third stick you will be in SINGLE CHANNEL MODE which will reduce the speed by which the memory can communicate to the CPU. This probably will reduce performance slightly but it depends on how fast your memory AND CPU are.You can't be in Dual on two and Single on the other. All memory must be communicating at the same speed. In fact, your MOTHERBOARD MANUAL actually shows you accepted configurations which are usually ONE, TWO, or FOUR sticks but not three (and for one and two you can have issues if you don't use the recommended slots.)If this is for GAMES, then 8GB is already plenty.*You'd likely be SLOWING DOWN your system with no advantage. I got this information from browsing the net. You should have googled it first.

  4. And you said 8 lanes for APUs. So does that mean AMD Raven Ridge Ryzen APUs uses 8 lanes max at a time. Please explain.
  5. How can I find this information in Motherboards Spec Sheet. Should I assume that generally 16 lanes are directly connected to CPU/CPU Socket in a Motherboard ?
  6. How to know numbers of PCIe Lanes a Motherboard can give directly to CPU/CPU Socket . I know there are motherboards that have 2 PCIe x16 slots but that doesn’t mean all 32 lanes are processed once at a time by the CPU. For instance, take an example MSI X370-KRAIT-GAMING. I have searched its specs sheet it says it has 2 PCIe x16 slots. But couldn’t found how many lanes are connected directly to CPU/CPU Socket .
  7. So which is cheaper SATA M.2 SSD or normal SATA SSD (2.5 inche ones) ? And which form factor you prefer.
  8. Thanks mate for the information. And what about M.2 SSDs ? Correct me if wrong in below statement M.2 connector provides PCIe, SATA 3.0 & USB 3.0 interfaces. This means a M.2 connector can be of SATA 3.0 or PCIe interface nature, which will decide its speed. So a NVMe/PCIe SSD is much faster than SATA M.2 SSD. The NVMe SSD can also come in M.2 form factor other than PCIe form factor. And What about performance comparison between SATA M.2 SSD and normal SATA SSD (2.5 inche ones) ?
  9. I want to install windows on SSD which is faster than SATA SSD. NVMe SSD are quite expensive as I have searched the net. I think PCIe SSD are significantly faster than SATA SSD. So I choose PCIe SSD. This would increase my system responsiveness. You said PCIe SSD aren't much faster. Please explain and correct me if I am wrong.
  10. I want to build a General Purpose PC that has PCIe SSD. The problem here is that I have heard that not all motherboard support booting from PCIe SSD natively (since I want to install Windows in PCIe SSD). Can anyone please help me in deciding right Motherboard that support Booting from PCIe SSD natively ? The motherboard should have AMD AM4 socket to house my AMD Ryzen 5 APU/CPU. Further, my build priorities are mentioned herein below, please let me know if you guys have any better suggestion :- Tampered Glass Computer Case 80 Plus Bronze Certified Power Supply ATX Motherboard ( Wifi, USB 3.1, Native Boot Support from PCIe SSD, AM4 Socket) AMD Ryzen 5 APU CPU Cooler (AMD Ryzen Supported if AMD don't give CPU Cooler) 16 DDR4 RAM (AMD Ryzen Supported) PCIe SSD (256 GB) & SATA SSD (1 TB)
  11. I had plugged in Sandisk OTG USB Drive in this case and not the Card Reader. So, should i presume that due to earlier plugging of unreputed or bad quality card reader, this problem occurred and persisted permanently in windows. Seems confusing... Any comments.
