  1. Thought so. The loose strip is cheaper, just need to solder the wire/plug myself. Thanks!
  2. Hi, at my workplace we sell aRGB-strips - one is marked to be compatible with Aura, Fusion etc., while the other is just a "loose" strip we can cut from, simply called WS2812b. Would this also work with Aura, Fusion etc., or is there anything specific to those, that are marked "compatible"?
  3. Thanks TUF B460M Plus, isn't x8 marginal difference to x16? GPU is an RX580. It says: Intel® 10th Gen Processors 1 x PCIe 3.0 x16 (x16 mode) Intel® B460 Chipset 1 x PCIe 3.0 x16 (x4 mode) I cant find anything about it changing to x8 in the manual.
  4. Hi there, probably a stupid question, but... I have an mATX motherboard. It has two x16 lanes and one x1 lane (the short one). The problem is that the x1 lane, where the sound card is plugged in, is right below the GPU - it's more or less kissing the GPUs fans (it isn't, but it's damn close). Can I move the sound card down to the 2nd x16 lane? The sound card only has a x1-size connection.
  5. Attempted to place GPU in while bios "GPU priority" was set to onboard, this works and lets me get a signal while GPU is inserted. I can then switch cables from onboard to the GPU and remain a signal. If I then attempt a restart, I get in an infinite loop until I connect at least one monitor to the onboard...its almost like its constantly searching for an onboard signal otherwise it does not want to boot into windows.
  6. Changing to lower PCI-e did not work. Also tried CMOS reset and 1 ram stick, but no luck. Usually my monitor shows orange LED when no signal, but it stays white (usually indicating some sort of signal) for some time before it then says no signal.
  7. I'll try that when I get home, but doesn't the lower one run at a lower speed? (x8)
  8. I got a signal from GPU, but after attempting to install drivers it blacked out and I'm back to square 1.
  9. Yes, cable from GPU to monitor. Corsair RM750.
  10. Hi there, I just did a new build: - Asrock B560 Pro4 - i5 11400 - 16GB ram - RX580 - M.2 SSD Problem: When GPU is inserted, I get no signal from either GPU or onboard. When GPU is not inserted, I get signal from onboard. From what I can read in the manual, the M.2 slot that I am using ("Hyper slot") should not be a problem with the PCI-e lane. Any suggestions?
  11. If you are curious about 11th gen, Komplett already have them up on their website for pre-order. You get a discount if you pair it with a select motherboard: https://www.komplett.dk/kampagne/136385/intel-11th-gen-launch They ship 28/29th.
  12. There seems to be a lot of mixed opinions online about the avg. lifespan of a PSU... My Corsair RM750 is turning 7 this June I also have new parts coming at the end of the month; CPU, Motherboard, Ram and M.2. The questions is: do I replace the PSU? I don't experience any problems with it as of now, so I'm keen on keeping it... But it would also suck if it blew up in a year and takes half the PC with it. How much protection is implemented in PSUs to avoid damaging other hardware?
