Yes I got your point, I would be spending more on motherboard going for the 8600K and I'm saving that with the 8700 build, it makes sense. I just have Two more question, what makes the 8700 compared with the 1700 better for rendering? Why are RAM memories so expensive???

That's one of the main reasons I was thinking that the Ryzen would do better in rendering, but I couldn't find any real world data comparing them when rendering.

I saw that one and I loved it, but it goes beyond my budget. I'm really pushing my limits with the either the i5 or the 1700.

Hi guys, first time posting here so please bear with me. I'm wondering which of the two processors (Intel Core i5-8600K or AMD Ryzen 1700) is best for game development? I'm planning to use it with Unity, Blender and maybe another graphic rendering tool. Thanks!!!
