hey all, after 10 years I just need a new laptop. 2 years ago I bought a PC for home. However, lately I've been commuting again way too often. Should I wait for the new macbook or is there a halfway good windows alternative? Need the whole thing for 4k sony footage and for 50 MP pictures.

hey guys, looking for a new laptop in 2020. I'm a freelance photographer who does also video. atm I normaly use my workstation with 32GB RAM/AMD ryzen 2700 and a gtx 1080. I also have my old MacBook retina 2012. In the last year I was a lot on the go and my old laptop can't handle 4k (only proxys) or my sony a7r3 files. Wich Laptop can you recommend? The price should around 2000€. Should I wait for more AMD laptops like the new surface Laptop or should I buy something like the Dell XPS bocks? pls Help

Thanks! I prefer Premiere, so I'll take a look at the Aero (: Thanks Lately, I'm really disappointed with Apple. I only hear about errors and performance problems. On the other hand, the Dell XPS series or the Surfacebook are highly praised I think for the laptop 2000 to a maximum of 3500th My experience shows me that if I spend a little more money, I have less stress and the laptop lives longer. For the workstation I thought about 1000 to 1500. The less the better (: The main application area will be for Photoshop and Premiere. Gaming would be an extra, but not a criterion.

Hi Guys, I'm new, so I'm not really sure if this post is in the right category. Since I have a new camera, the a7r3, my old MacBook Pro from 2012 can no longer handle premiere pro and photoshop. My focus is photography, but I want to do more movies. I'm really not sure what to buy now. I want to be mobile ... but also cut my 4k footgae.
