I just moved into my college dorm, and noticed that my link speed is capped at 100Mbps. Both of my friends are connected through ethernet and they are getting 600+ download and upload while im only getting 90. I have tried 3 different ethernet cables and even purchased a brand new one and none of them have worked. I have tried changing the speed and duplex to auto negotiation, and its still capped at 100. I have also tried changing it to 1.0 Gbps Full Duplex, and the wifi just never reconnects when I put it on 1.0 Gbps Full Duplex. Anyone know of any solutions?

So i recently purchased an i7-8700k and want to start streaming, I mainly game on it and i want to start streaming games. I am going to build a new computer. So far i have the case(NZXT S340) the ram (16GB of Gskill TridentZ 300MHZ), 1 TB Hard Drive, GTX 1060 6gb, but i need help deciding on what Motherboard and what CPU Cooler to get. I am Looking To Get the motherboard For Under $100 and the Cpu Cooler For Under $60. I will be overclocking, so i want it to be cool and i dont really care that much about it being that quit i just want the best performance out of both of them. Thank you!

So i am gonna buy a new case, motherboard and CPU for Christmas, but i haven't decided on what CPU i want to get. I will mostly be doing gaming and my budget for the cpu is under 350. I was gonna get a i7-8700k but i dont know what to get. Btw these are my specs. 16GB Vengence LPX 3000, Zotac GTX 1060 6GB, and a NZXT s340 and the motherboard depends on what cpu im getting.
