    so he finally let me go on his pc to tinker around i ended up having to install steam and when installing it i installed the file into his hdd's steam file so now he has acess to all his steam games and i was working on moving around files for epic games (gta and fortnite) i had to go into the hdd and enable inheritance so its working a bit better now i think hes happy with 10 second boot from 5 minutes lol, thanks everyone!!

    is it possible since its a hp prebuilt that it could have been encrypted? its my brothers pc and hes being a pain and wont let me format the drive and reinstall everything for him over night which is my last resort fix i guess

    ssd is 1tb btw and hdd is 2tb with 1.8tb used

    i installed a new ssd with windows 10 by unplugging my 2tb hdd and using a usb drive to boot windows 10 onto the ssd but when i turned off the pc and plugged back in my hdd i cant access what was installed on it previously. everything is on it is there a way i can unlock it and get all my files to work or would i just have to boot back into the hdd and save what i want and redownload?

    Monitor RMA help! AOC 24G2 Vs G2590PX My 24G2 recently died and AOC's RMA program told me today that i would have to wait until April to get a replacement but offered me a AOC G2590PX can anyone tell me if its worth the take the G25 or wait for the 24G2?     im goning to take it back and get them to test the monitor because i dont have another cable and dont want to buy a new one just in case its the port on the monitor

    So i just bought a new aoc monitor and when i plugged in the DP to my 1070 the monitor and windows couldn't find any monitor detected but when i used a hdmi cable it worked flawlessly any ideas why the display port isnt working

    I have a problem when i open up my Hdd, it looks like a mess i want to make all the games into one folder but when i move them into the folder the shortcut no longer works how can i get around this problem? thanks in advance!

    I have some Ripjaw memory 8gb that runs at 2400mhz i want to try and get 2666mhz overclock any tips on what intervals to increase the timing and voltages? and good guides that could walk me through it? i want the extra performance that it offers but im scared that i will brick my new/used system.

    oh right now the ssd is in a acer mobo 4 year old pc so yeah how can i preform a clean reinstall?

    yes i selected the disk by typing list disk then select disk then i typed convert gpt

    i tried to install windows on my old but clean SSD which was MBR so im wondering how to change it to GPT, when i tried DISKPART but it just gave me an error. thanks in advance
