Hello! My name is Mitchell.I'm 16 and this is my first build! The name "Thee Phantom" is just a cheesy name I took from the case(being the NZXT Phantom). I'm very new to building computers so I don't doubt I didn't make the best decisions with my build but it's my first so don't be too harsh! I don't know too much about specific parts, I just got what I thought was decent. After 7 months of working around my neighborhood, I raised $900 to put towards my computer, the last $247 was from Christmas! Do not have a good place for my computer, currently, I just have a small piece of wood to keep it off of the card. Looking for a solution. I'm fairly new to the computer world, just want to make sure I keep all my stuff up to date.

I have that, that always helps me with my video card, but I mean for like everything. Would just going to each manufacturer's wesbites for the drivers be my best bet?

Alright, quick question. I want to keep up with my drivers and all the updates, what's the best way to keep up with all of my hardware and software easily? I have Slim Drivers, but when i do some of the downloads, stuff doesn't work sometimes. Any suggestions?

I'm not going to buy a new video card, I'm just going to work for the cpu/motherboard/ram, i'm not upgrading my video card until I come back from the military because i leave in 2 years.

Hello LTT, I rushed into my first build being very excited about my first build and realized now that I got terrible CPU and RAM. So i'm going to just replace my motherboard, CPU, and RAM all together. If someone could give me a suggestion,i'd greatly appreciate it. Now for the CPU, I don't know whether to go Intel or AMD, I mostly am just browsing the web, but I do some gaming. I don't want top of the line, but I want like mid range to maybe a little better than in the middle. I want to stay under $1000 though.
