  1. That picture is old I have a razer mouse now Yup got a 75hz free sync 24inch 1920x1080 viewsonic
  2. Yeah.. so you see why I want to stick with used parts and don't want the newest stuff now? Stupid expensive...
  3. Yes.... a brand new Armour RX580 sells for $400+ NZD
  4. Good idea, I was looking at some cable extensions and combs to make it look nicer but as a temporary thing that will work well. Oh yes I know... I don't care for latest and greatest what I care about is can it run my games nicely? I will only upgrade when I find a really good deal like to good to pass up because the used market in my country is pretty honest and you get some great deals, or when games I want to play run terrible or not at all..... so when choosing my motherboard I made sure it is compatible with 9th Gen Intel as well so I can upgrade eventually when 9th Gens go super cheap. I also care aesthetics but thats about it also you are right about the RX580 its an amazing budget card I paid $250 NZD ($160 USD) for my RX580 hardly used looked brand new box and all and most of my games can run smooth at very high / ultra. Whenever asked I always recommend it for budget builds
  5. Can I ask why? most of the parts are used so cannot take it back. Performance wise it does everything I need I came from using a 2009 prebuilt Q8600 CPU and ATi RADEON 1GB GPU and 4GB DDR2 RAM so it feels plenty fast enough and I haven't come across any bottle necking.... I spent $700 NZD total for this build which is $448 USD
  6. Yeah.. I know its overkill for an 8100 but I got the cooler for $50 used and personal preference but I think AIO's look cooler excuse the pun also I plan on upgrading the CPU when everyone jumps to AMD or the 10th Gen Intel used Intel CPUs are going to be really cheap
  7. Hiya, This is my first time building a PC my past PCs have all been prebuilts my last PC was a Gateway SX2802 which I used from 2009 until 2020.... anyway below is my new PC which is a mix of new and used parts. 8. Thanks for the reply, I will try relocating it under the GPU, I also have 3 more 120mm fans on the way as currently it only has one 120mm exhaust fan and one 120mm fan on the radiator in pull configuration
  9. Thank you for the replies will adding a heatsink void my 5 year warranty?
  10. - Asus PRIME B365M-A matx it is in the M.2 slot between the CPU socket and GPU. - Phanteks P300 case - RX580 8GB NITRO+ Sapphire - cooler master ML120L RGB AIO
  11. So I bought a Crucial P1 1TB Nvme SSD last week, it's been great until last night while playing DragonBall Z Kakarot when suddenly my whole PC shut off and then restarted itself I checked the temp of the SSD and found it maxed out at 93c. I let it cool down to about 50-60c then tried playing the game again, once again the PC shut off and restarted itself I check the temp of the SSD this time around 89c. So I tried playing less intensive games like CSGO had no issues with it overheating got to about 67-68c and stayed around there PC didn't shut off. So really I have a couple questions 1) I have everything OS games files etc stored on the Nvme if it overheats like that is it normal for the PC to shut itself down and restart itself 2) Is my SSD faulty? Or is it the game causing the issue? 3) Should I buy a heatsink for it and if so what is a recommended heatsink?
  12. Thanks for your reply, I am going to go with the B365M that looks like a much better board for only a little bit more. I have also found a used RX 570 for $130 NZD so that will free up some of the budget.
  13. If I go by the max I want to spend per part my max is $510 to buy GPU RAM and a Motherboard. I only need to buy GPU, Motherboard and RAM. I have the other parts.
  14. Motherboard: $100-150 NZD GPU: $240 NZD Max RAM: $100-120 NZD I am also fine going used as well as our PC part scene in New Zealand is pretty honest and has decent people.
  15. I am building a budget system for mostly Counter Strike GO and other games like GTA 5 for example and want some suggestions for parts. CPU: Intel i3 8100 Case: Phanteks Eclipse P300 Black PSU: FSP HEXA 500W 80+ Motherboard: (Not sure what to go with want it to have at least 1 m.2 slot for upgrading to m.2 drive later and be a ATX or at least a mATX) M.2 isn't a NEED if it increases the price I want to build this as cheap as possible. GPU: RX 570 4GB or GTX 1050ti 4GB (not sure which to go with) RAM: (Not sure for this one looking at some HyperX 2666mhz 16gb 2x8gb sticks) Any help or suggestions is appreciated. Thanks.
