  1. I dont have this issue on any other device though, is it a problem with how windows manages bluetooth devices?
  2. I recently purchased the Senheiser HD 4.40BT, but whenever i try to use the mic on the headphones I either hear nothing, or the quality is garbage. I've tried disabling handsfree telephony, but then i cant use the mic. I've set my default playback device as the non-handsfree option, but then i hear nothing. (The headphones show up twice in my playback options when handsfree telephony is active) When I select the handsfree option for playback, I end up with very low quality audio. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
  3. How would i set this up? I have very little experience with setting up vpn & proxy servers.
  4. I was wondering if anyone knew how to use my home IP as a personal vpn. I need this primarily for my phone, and don't particularly care about any sort of encryption.
  5. Thanks for the help everyone. One last thing though, my pc currently had AMD drivers, but i can't load into windows to clean instal the nvidia drivers. What should i do?
  6. My university blocks nearly all VPNs I use and anytime I find a new VPN, it seems to get blocked within a few days to weeks. I was wondering if there was anyway to get around this, or an alternative to unblocking websites.
  7. Can someone tell me which gtx 1060 to get? I dont know which cooler type is better. Im looking at the ones in the $230 price range on newegg Im currently upgrading to a GTX 1060 and im planning on purchasing it on newegg. Could anyone help me select which one?? Im kinda confused by all the options.
  8. Some Random Member well so far ive found a 3gb single fan EVGA 1060 at $230 and the rx 580 is at least $300. So the 1060 seems better if they have similar performance. Wh0_Am_1 the thing is i still need a usable computer for that month or two. No GPU is a pretty important thing to be missing for a month. Someone just tell me if a GTX 1060 would be compatible with my current system
  9. My graphics card recently reached the end of its lifespan and I'm planning to upgrade it. I have no brand preference and just want the most bang for my buck. I have a budget of $300 US. I was thinking of getting a GTX 1060 and was wondering if there were any better options in that price range, and if it would be compatible with my current setup. My current build is: Motherboard: Asus M5A99X Evo R2.0 CPU: AMD Fx 8350 GPU: AMD Radeon HD R7970 PSU: Corsair CX 750 Ram: Vucan 16GB DDR3 Also not really worried about thermals since its a full size build and has plenty of airflow.
  10. I did some testing and it seems to be a vram overheating issue. Is there any way to solve this?
  11. I did a clean install of my graphics drivers, I'll post again if it crashes again, but if it does continue crashing would that mean I need a new GPU or could this potentially be another piece of hardware?
  12. Well it crashed again, this time is just turned solid grey. The graphics card is pretty old, its a Radeon R7970.
  13. Today my computers been having some issues. So far its crashed 3 times, and each time it crashes the screen goes yellow with a bunch of uniform vertical lines that alternate in shade. I was wondering if this was a software issue of any kind or if my GPU has finally given out and needs an upgrade. So far, I've opened up the PC and made sure there were no loose connections, then removed the GPU and put it back in just in case it had come out of its socket in the 5 years of sitting there.
  14. Is it possible to build network redundancy on the PC side to reduce the chance of disconnecting? I mean quickly auto connecting to the backup network in case one goes offline to reduce the chance of disconnections and ddosing. Unlike other options which require you to manually switch the network when one goes down and has a significant delay.
