  1. I think that the rtx 2060 is useless and it is a waste of money because you can get a 1070ti for 80 eur less than both v64 and 2060
  2. Ah I remember when the gtx 1060 was destroying the rx 480, 570 and 580 in most of the games. You know what, f*ck efficiency I will go for the Vega 64 - powerful == better And when I think about it my room is small and in the winter instead of burning woods, I can save them with playing games with the Vega. So a small part of the money for the electricity will be for warming up the flat
  3. Well 8GB are preferable. And what about the Vega 56. Now i started paying attention to it and how does it perform compared to the Vega 64. Here there is a much cheaper model - the msi air boost(blower style) - around 353euros There is also the Asus rog Strix Vega 56 - around 380euros Is the MSI Air boost Vega 56 a better options in terms of value compared to the Asus Rog Strix Vega 64. And what about the performace difference between the vega 56 and vega 64. I see it is around 6 fps in most of the games so it is not that much I think.
  4. Still I am first going to stick with 1080p for some time and then change. 6GB are enough for 1080p in the future but for 1440p probably not. The only cons in the vega is the power consumption but I think with a nice under volt I will be able to lower it. Not like Watts matter to me. IMO I think that the vega is a better choice but what about just 1080p gaming, I am going to be with a 1080p monitor for 1 more year
  5. Ah, I still don't actually know, which one to get. I just want that future proof. The RTX is newer, however the amd cards tend to be like the wine - they perform better as times goes on and nvidia are not like that but still they will keep the rtx up to date because it is their diamond series
  6. So aren`t we getting to off-topic. From the 1070Ti - 390$ Vega64 - 470$ RTX 2060 - 460$ the best choice is the Vega, right?
  7. But doesn`t tearing down your GPU just to change the thermal paste, void your warranty. Or asus has some policy like EVGA, if they haven`t changed it.
  8. overheating issues? I have not found anywhere people talking about it. Can you tell me more about it? What is the problem, is it that bad and what about the fix
  9. Dude am I blind or you power and i7 and vega with 550W power supply???? How is this possible I am looking at your info
  10. Nope, there is the Asus rog strix, which is the cheapest vega 64, there is also the gigabyte gaming oc, which is 200$ more. But if we talk about the rtx 2060 or the 1070ti I think that mostly every model canbe bought
  11. I have not actually considered any Pascal GPUs and I am not exactly sure about them compared to these 2 I have chosen - I mean I have not done research for them. Edit: For the Pascal cards in our market the 1070Ti is way better price to performace than the 1080 - 682BGN compared to 850-900 BGN
  12. There is no nitro+ Vega here It`s SYSTEM POWER 9 700W
  13. So I need a GPU for my current rig: -Ryzen 5 2600 Clocked at 4GHz -2x8gb Corsair vengeance 3200Mhz -AB350M Pro4 Asrock -Bunch of HDD and fans So for my budget I can get an Rx Vega 64 from AMD side and an RTX 2060 from the NVIDIA side. For models I have chosen: -ASUS RX Vega64 ROG Strix OC, which is around 470 USD -GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2060 Gaming OC Pro, which is around 460 USD Note: the rtx 2070 is way more expensive - 650 USD so is the Strix RTX 2060 - 510 USD I am going to use the video card for 1080p 144hz gaming and I will probably change my monitor to a new 1440p in 1 or 2 years time. Suggestion? - the Vega or RTX I know about the power consumption thing so I don`t want it as a first argument, I am looking at performace in games not my electricity bill Edit: If I get a Vega 64, I am 100% going to try the lottery of undervolting.
