  2. what do you meean? check the new thermal paste how it spread?
  3. all of my fans work fine and work at full speed. it has to be a heat sink problem but i haave no clue howw to tighten a heat sink
  4. if someone would like to talk personally to try to help you can contact me on discord @ Hytrol#3371
  5. so when i took it apart i didnt really noticee or check if the heat sink was tight. and ive done both. ive set it to max and tried to run something and its just heeats up and doesnt stop unntil it hits 103 deg and black screens. im really confused at this point
  6. i have already opened it and applied new thermal paste but i didnt mess with the thermal pads and heat sink.
  7. yes the fans work and i have plenty of enough cooling in my case setup. i have and always have used msi afterburner. nothing seems to help. i havee aa friend who works with computer repair and stuff and he seems to think the only thing we havent ruled out is the heat sink being loose
  8. So i have a gtx 670 ti. Ive had it for about 5 years and last year or more my game have been running at 90 deg c +. Recently it started to overheat and go into the 101 range so i took my pc apart and cleaned it like i normally do because i have a very dusty room. Now after i reinstalled everything i noticed that my gpu would go up in temp when playing a game with high animations or anything. When it starts to go up in temp it doesn't cool itself it just heats up to about 103 and then black screens and the fans go crazy. At this point i restart my computer and everything is fine. I have recently just replaced the thermal paste to see if that would fix the problem and it did not. I am thinking it has to do with my heatsink being loose or something. please help i am so clueless and strapped on cash. thanks all
