Thank you for your reply tarfeef101. I manage to recover the pc through task manager startup files tab, opening file location and then entering the control panel and recover to a previous date before the incident. Quite an unsual way to do so, but it worked and avoided the format! all systems are working fine!

Hi, Linus community, Two days ago a got a virus on my pc. At the time it was working fine, but when I restarted it, there was a black screen with a pop-up window of cmd command mentioning "C:\windows\system32>". Since then, I don't have access to windows nor can I access bios to boot from USB in order to format windows. What can I do to fix this issue? Can I recover windows or do I need to format it? If its the later, how do I access bios? Any suggestions?

I used CrystalDiskMark 6 but I don't know what the indication number mean. I am mostly concerned about the proper operation of the hardware that's all -
Hi there, I did a benchmark test with the UserBenchMark.exe and a couple of weeks ago I got outstanding results (Image 1). However, I check that there was an updated version just a few days ago and I did another one to check as the power was cut off, just to make sure that everything is working fine. Then I got this result... (Image 2) After having a closer look I saw that there is a problem with the ssd readings...(Image 3) Anyone has any idea as to what may have happen? Thanks in advance guys!

Hi guys, I want to sync my msi z370 gaming carbon pro with the captain 240ex rgb AIO. Does anyone knows how to do so? I downloaded the mystic light but it does not recognize the AIO. It only light the pump's light whereas the led strip is not operating. Any ideas?

ok, so I bought a laptop with windows 8 that recently was upgraded to windows 10, but I built a desktop and I was wondering if I could use the one from the laptop instead of buying another one, since I don't use the laptop any more
