Hi, I am in the market for a new monitor and I would like a few recommendations. Some specifications I have to have: 144hz or more QHD or more At least 27’ (though ideally it would be 31 or higher) VA or IPS (not TN) G-sync would be nice but not essential The most I could pay would be £700 I am not sure wether there is any monitor that fits those specifications but thank you in advance for your responses

Hi all, I am building a new PC and was wondering what CPU I should get, the I5-8400 or I5-8600k. I plan to be gaming on a 144hz monitor and I will pair the CPU with a gtx 1080. Cost isn’t so much of an issue but value for money is, where I live there is £100 difference (factoring in the need for an after market cooler for the I5-8600k) and if I were to pick the I5-8600k I would like to know I’m going to get enough benefit to justify the extra £100. I will be playing games like Rainbow Six Siege (I am aware this is CPU intensive) and Overwatch mainly with some more intensive games like BF1 or COD WW2 thrown in occasionally as well. Future proofing years ahead isn’t that big of a deal as long as it seems like it’s going to last about 2 years before it is stupidly out of date. So my question is, for the games I mainly play what CPU would be best for me? Also I know this is off topic but what motherboards would you recommend for the 1080 and coffee lake CPU?
