Being a 7 pro owner myself, I can say the 90hz screen is a life changer, because I also came from a iPhone 6s. The jump to a bigger screen and much faster charging is great as well, but there are some features about the phone that aren't so great. The front facing camera I find to be a bit on the soft side, especially when I take a picture using it. It comes out as if there's a default beauty effect, which I have no idea how to remove, and if it is even possible to remove it. As well as the flash, oh boy the flash. It's a great try to doing a non-led or actual physical light, but I find in dark situations the flash overbrightens your face and the picture ends up more of a white hue rather than your actual skin pigment tone. The zoom on the rear-facing camera is not so great, considering in a well-lit living room, a water bottle case about 10 feet away, at full zoom looks just plain horrible. The fingerprint sensor is lack-luster as well, and I don't like the fact that you need to press the power button to be able to use the face recognition, rather than the double tap gesture, which only brings the screen to a black hue and the fingerprint sensor.

I'm gonna get a new PC and with some help from the forums and looking at the tier list for mostly every component I've gathered up a list that I think is pretty good.(The rtx 2070 Super is on there until I look at graphs with the new aib's 5700xt). Hey, Im going to be purchasing a new computer soon, and noticed on a bunch of the reviews the 5700XT can keep up with the 2070 Super, as long as it's overclocked. With the aib coolers coming out soon, is it a good idea to wait on them, or should I buy the 2070 super?
If it helps I plan on buying a ryzen 7 3700x and a 1440p monitor

I'm going to be getting a ryzen 3700x, and I want a motherboard that can handle the chip without cooking itself to death. I originally had planned for the Meg ace, but decided spending more on a motherboard than your cpu isnt a very smart idea. So I dropped down to a Taichi because it has the most features the $300 motherboard price range has to offer(according to buildzoid). Then I saw the C7H is about $25 cheaper and the vrm was placed on the same tier list as the x570 Taichi on this forum. Is it better to go with the c7h, or should I full send it and spend the extra $25 or so?

I’ve had the sennheiser had 439’s for a while, got them as a gift, but they are on their last leg in terms of performance and comfort. That being said, I’ve seen the audio technica ad500x, and the hd58x but those are $50 extra. They’re gonna be mostly used for gaming, and music listening here and there as well. Which headphones should I buy next? Or do you have any suggestions?
If it helps my motherboard is ASRock X570 Taichi, and my sound interface is an behringer q802usb

A Dark Rock Pro 4 or NH-D15 will always beat out a ML240L. And it will even trade blows with / beat an H100i in most cases.
If you're going to suggest an AIO over ALL AIR at least go with something that beats out an $80 air cooler.
That unit isn't spectacular, especially for the price. The MA620P is the superior cooling unit, and usually not a whole lot more than that one.
Either way you're looking at a fairly noisy unit in comparison to something like the Dark Rock Pro 4 and getting a performance drop in the name of RGB.
I saw on some reviews, the dr4 is in the same area in terms of temps as the drp4. The dr4 is much smaller compared to the drp4 which would allow me to get taller ram. Would you choose the dr4 or just the drp4?

Alright, so to keep things simple, I'm getting a new pc and wanted some feedback on what i've come up with so far. I want a case that supports front i/o usb type-c which is why the lancool one digital is there. I know MSI is doing a promotion (not really sure if its still going on), but they give away stuff like liquid coolers steam gift cards, which made me want to get a meg x570 ace, but I bumped it down to save some cash. My whole Plan essentially is to get a case that has a dark tempered glass side panel hence the tinted one on the lancool one, and have only the RGB illumination be visible.

It's worth doing for sure, as long as you're fine with watercooling. Personally I'm happy to stick with my D15, otherwise I'd have gone for this.

Hey guys, I was looking at a X570 motherboard from MSI, and went to their page to see the support for mystic light, and saw that MSI is running a promo where if you buy a specific X570 motherboard you’ll get a cpu cooler. For example, the X570 ace would come with a cooler master 240 mm rgb cooler, while the carbon would come with the lite version of it. These free coolers and the other promos seem tempting, but do you guys have an idea as to how it would work? What are your thoughts about it?

Hey, thanks for clicking on this topic. I finally got a job (its a paid internship), but anyways I will get paid soon, and Im going to build a pc, and I want to buy a new microphone, because my modmic wire has annoyed the crap out of me, and I just want a mic on a boom arm in general. I've been looking at getting the rode procaster, because the dynamic properties of it, I have heard that its great for enviroments where theres a lot of noise,( my mom screaming at me, the computer fans). I've also seen some microphone kits such as the nt1-a for around the same price as the procaster, and I was wondering what would be best in my case. Thanks!

Hello, I've been looking at buying a monitor for gaming, as well as some other work, and found this Acer ED7 to be quite compelling. It has 1440p ultrawide and 100hz, both of which are very important to me. Yes 1080p ultrawide is fine, but I would prefer the 1440p. If it is possible to find something of a similar spec, please don't hesitate to comment.

Hello, i've been mustering up the cash, and managed to save up enough money to buy a pc of high caliber. I will be upgrading from my old crummy laptop, so anything will do. I made a rough draft as to what I want to buy and build. I have included a monitor in it, because I will be needing one of those as well. If you can find something of a similar spec thats better, please do tell. I am trying to start a podcast with a couple of my buddies, and I was gonna have multiple mics obviously, but I'm trying to figure out how to get the sound of each mic to different headphones, so we can hear ourselves. The microphone's I am wanting to start it up are neewer nw-700's as well an Alesis or behringer mixer that supports the 4 mics. Im not trying to spend a lot of money as we don't have much to begin with.

If you want to be recording the raw signal then you could simply use the preamp on a mic input on the interface. You shouldn't need a cloudlifter in either case unless you find the preamp unable to provide enough gain.

The title basically says it all, I'm wondering if I can use a dbx 286s with a scarlett 2i4, onto a rode procaster for a home setup. If I were to use the dbx, wouldn't that theoretically mean I wouldn't need a cloudlifter? Or would it be better to use the 2i4 with a cloudlifter or fathead, and no dbx 286s at all? Thanks!
