  1. However, the most seemless option i think would still be the Thunderbolt 4 dock. Even though its expensive, i hope this is the most reliable. Or am I wrong?
  2. I like this idea. If all Devices are connected through Ethernet, is moonlight a good solution even with latency and quality? Ive trifft Steam Link through the TVs WiFi and that absolutely sucked
  3. Budget (including currency): Less than a second Gaming PC would be (< €2000,-?) Country: Austria Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: New AAA games on 1440p 32:9 (Desk) and 4k 120 (TV) Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): RTX 3070 R9 5900X 32GB DDR4 Hi guys! Im trying to extend my existing gaming setup to my living room. However I dont feel like buying a second PC just for this purpose is worth it at all. I would like the idea to extend my setup through whatever cabling would be needed, into my living rooms desk. On the desk i'd love to place a second pair of peripherals (generic FHD Monitor and some good Gaming Mouse/Keyboard) and also plug in my Samsung S90C from there. In short, I want to extend my setup to the living room, whenever I decide to turn on the devices and get gaming without much configuration hassle everytime I want to play on the TV. I made a quick sketch of how my setup should ideally look when i'm done. However I need help with deciding which cabling to pull through the walls and which adapters/docks or similar to use. In my dream scenario I would just be able to press an "on" button on the secondary desk to turn on a dock or similar and connect the 2 displays to the main pc. The goal is to skimp on a second PC, because upgrading just one pc regularly is already expensive enough imo. The cable length I'd need from the main desk to the secondary desk would ideally be 15 meters and from the secondary desk to the TV 10 meters Would this be possible to do with some Optical HDMI cables? I've seen some videos about the CalDigit Thunderbolt docks (TS4) or those icron USB Docks which work through Cat 6a/7 cables. However im unsure if any of those solutions would even work. Id love your help!
  4. Thats exactly what i was thinking but then theres so much people out there saying that it would be dumb to buy a One X/S right now because the new games wont be supported for too long. But i guess i also could just sell them and get used Series S/X when that actually happens.
  5. Yeah the thing is that a second hand One S is only 50€ less than the One X where I live.
  6. Hi! Im here looking for advice on my situation. I currently do not have a way to play games on my beloved TV. I´ve tried in home gamestreaming and other services like Google Stadia etc. to casually play games in my living room which I didnt really like doing. Now im thinking about getting a console set up there. PS4/PS5 isnt an option because i play PS games on my main setup. I´ve been interested in an XBox for quite a while and now i don´t know if I want the Series S or the One X, since i never used XBox before i do not have any collection of physical games that i would need a disc drive for. My main Library would come from the Game Pass and other games i already own on Microsoft store. Currently the One X is available used for about 200€ in Austria and the Series S for 300€ Do you think that future games will be supported for the one x or will they abandon the consoles in a few years?
  7. Okay. I guess i dont have a choice so im gonna try that. Thank you for your help
  8. Looks like a normal 9 Pin D-Sub connector to me. Its a pretty clean rip so. Maybe? But how can i open the connector. And which cables go to where?
  9. I just wanted to play a game with my wheel so i started connecting all the cables to the wheel itself. When i wanted to connect the pedals i pulled the cable too hard and the connector ripped right off. Has anyone an idea of what i could do about this? Thanks in advance!
  10. I just tried to change the refresh rate to 120hz instead 144. The artifact problem is gone now. But it keeps blacking out.
  11. Hi! I have a problem already for about 2 weeks. My Monitor goes black while using the pc randomly and coming back after a few seconds working fine for a bit afterwards. AND I noticed some blue little "artifacts" while watching videos or going to my desktop (wallpaper) Basically a few pixels turning blue (going away when covering it with cursor or other stuff) I initially hoped it is the graphic cards driver because it began kind of after I updates my Nvidia Geforce Experience GameReady Driver. but i got a new update today hoping it would work then (It doesnt) Is it possible that it happened after I clocked my RAM a little bit? Does the monitor have a problem? (Acer GN246HLBbid) Is it the cable? (Connected with DVI) System Specs: Intel Core i5 6500 MSI Z170A PC MATE EVGA GTX 1070 FTW 16GB Corsair vengeance 3000Mhz
  12. Hey guys. Im currently looking for something very exotic. Is there a case which is invertable or is already inverted and supports vertical GPU mounting? My PC is on my left and theres no way to get it on my right but i´d love to look at that pretty insides. Problem is all the upside down text when getting an inverted case but if I install my GPU vertically text thing should be avoidable, right?
