Hi, I currently own a GL502VS with a 4k screen. I was wondering whether its possible to change the display to a 1080p one ? The display that is currently inside the laptop uses a 40 pin connector (marked with a blue line in the picture) but unfortunately all the 1080p displays use 30pin connector. I have found display cables with 30 pins that seem to be compatible with my laptop. So my question is whether anyone has had any experience with something like this ? And whether buying a display + 30 pin connector will actually work ?
