Computers. Took apart an old 2000ish desktop and put it together again because I was bored. Then the Xbox. Then another Xbox. Then my dad's old computer. Then got a job and built me and my dad a computer each. Then sold one. Then got another one, mini itx style. I rather enjoy building computers. It's probably connected to my love of lego as a kid.

  1. Thanks for your guys' responses. I did check through the BIOS just to make sure it was at 3000 because I noticed that when I was setting it up, and it is still there. I gotta admit I'm feeling real dumb here though because I was dumb and impatient to get it working. I had it set at 1.3 initially and only turned it down to 1.28... because I didn't care as long as it was stable and under 1.3 which is what a Youtube vid told me. I've been putting the memory lower now and have it at 1.26250 volts for the graphics. I'm honestly just annoyed with myself as well, because I could've probably cut back on a lot of my things and got a 1060 3gb instead of doing this to myself and now probably degrading the already low performance. I'm going to try and reinstall windows, but if that doesn't work i'm going to be annoyed.
  2. I'm no expert because I've only had 60hz, but I doubt you'll see much of a difference. Try for 120hz if you have a 1080 to maximize your performance.
  3. So I built a mini itx computer, expecting to play games 1080p or 900p low-med or whatever. I had the stock cooler for a little bit, and saw it was getting fairly hot (~85-90c) during games, I now have a 120mm AIO though. I had managed an OC to 1600mhz on graphics at 1.28... volts. During this time I was using it at my friends and I was playing Dead By Daylight at a good frame rate on ultra settings, 1080p. Now when I went to go back and play the game about a month later I have to turn it to low and turn down the resolution. I've been talking to both AMD and Dead By Daylight about it, but they haven't had a solution. I hoping that either there is a fix, and I didn't somehow damage my chip. My specs are as follows: Ryzen 2200g 1600mhz,2gb ram 16gb DDR4 Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000 Gigabyte AB350N-Gaming WiFi Corsair H55 120mm AIO 600w EVGA semi modular PSU 1TB WD blue 120gb Kingston SSD Cooler Master Elite 110 with 2 extra 80mm fans installed Any tips/tricks and help or even suggestions about my build is appreciated as well. Thanks in advance.
