  1. At least here in Germany there are only 50-60€ between a 12400 and a 12600K. So when its abot the same in the UK I would go for it. Especailly because the CPU can last through to the next GPU Upgrade. The PSU should also be fine (but not mich headroom yes) I have a friend using a somewhat similiar setup with 550W PSU (which is at its limits). If you can spare 100$ for a good new Power supply you should consider a new one.
  2. The overall config looks pretty good but have you looked into using an AMD GPU? They are pretty cheap here in Europe so if you dont want to use NVENC or DLSS they may be worth a try.
  3. The shielding specifications for PCIe4 are also way tighter than PCIe3 so maybe there is most likely an interference problem. Some Motherboards have the appropriate shielding but its locked down in Software. So THEORETICALLY it could work but it doesn't. Asrock actually allowed on some PCIe3 motherboards to use gen 4 but I think AMD restricted it afterwards
  4. I looked into the manual for this motherboard and for the CPU Header it can supply 12W (12V/1A) and 24W (12V/2A)for the Chassis Fans. The Fans you are using use about 2.5 Watts so it should be completely fine. btw I use the exact same fan splitter and its working great
  5. I have a 2060S. And adding the monitor adds about 15MB of video memory but that amount seems rather normal for an additional display. but that at least explains why my R9 280 never clocked it's memory down back in the day Edit: just noticed that my gpu and memory clocks are locked with the DVI display on. With it diabled the drop siginifcantly
  6. Dell Monitor alone is by 15~20W Dell with second Monitor goes up to about 30W with a third one it goes up to 40W But i can turn on all other monitors EXCEPT the Dell one and the Power draw is 20W. Sooo...
  7. In raw performance i would like to say that the 6600xt easily outperforms the 2060. Even the power consmption is lower i think. Pretty sure that photoshop and premiere pro doesn't have CUDA acceleration (but don't quoute me on that). So when Adobe only uses H265, H.264, etc with Hardware acceleration... Definetly the 6600XT
  8. I always had a high idle power consumption but really never thought anything of it. Now because I pay like 0.36€ per kWh i wanted to lower my power consumption and found sth weird. I have 4 monitors in my setup. When all 4 are on the GPU needs about 45W in idle. But when I disconnect one specific monitor it drops to about 20W. So any combination of plugged in monitors draws about 20W except when the DVI Monitor comes into play. It's an Dell FP1908 with DVI. Not the latest or greatest but it works. Now my question is why only with that one monitor plugged in does the GPU need so much power? Maybe no power saving features in comparison to HDMI/DP? And is there would be some solution to that
  9. I have an old VCR with a blown power mosfet (STP3NA60FI). It seems that this mosfet isn't avible anymore due to its age. Is there an newer comparable mosfet? STP3NA60FI.pdf
  10. Maybe something like this instead of Simply a white field with the name on it? To me a bit mor appealing.
