  1. I did all this stuff. Alas it still would not work. So if you cannot update because of the new May intel drivers bug I believe that’s the only option besides reinstalling windows. I opted for a Ubuntu VM, not ideal and can’t keep it running most of the time but it’s whatever.
  2. already reached this conclusion but yeah I can’t update. need to fix this error another way ahhhhhh
  3. Your PC has a driver or service that isn’t ready for this version of Windows 10. Sigh time to try and fix this too
  4. Oh.. so the update assistant download is in grey right above the Windows media tool and is evidently not the same thing. Thanks I’ll try that.
  5. My version is 1803 Build 17134.799. I already discussed this with kirashi before they went to bed. I apparently am not on the latest version. I have tried to update via settings and via in place upgrade using the media creation tool, one said I was on the latest version the media creation tool said it couldn’t update me for some reason. I also did some googling ? and also found that no one at all has a solution.
  6. I get the error 0x80073701 Could not reference assembly whenever I try to install the WLSS via UI or PowerShell. I have ran sfc /scannow in command prompt as admin and it came up clean. I tried using DISM to repair but got error 0x890f081f could not find source files. Upon trying to fix this as well I ran into the issue so I couldn’t fix it. I’m on the latest version of Windows 10. I’ve tried to use Windows media to upgrade though and that said it couldn’t be done (presumably because I’m on the latest version). Others have suggested the only thing I can do is install Windows 10 again but that’s really not an option that I would like to take. I spent around 15 hours yesterday no exaggeration trying to diagnose this problem. Please if anyone could help at all I don’t know what to do.
  7. What’s the pressure method? Tighten it?
  8. No the cpu is under the heat pipe. I have integrated graphics on my mobo lol, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to use it.
  9. The CPU is under the heat sink. The copper bit. Also why did you include a picture of a graphics card?
  10. I mean THERE IS Vram on the motherboard though. I sometimes fixed it by banging my screen so wonder if it’s just loose or something. What am I looking for in terms of integrated gpu graphics? Red circles please.
  11. So I have this Asus all in one (basically laptop lol), it had Radeon graphics but that died ages ago. I have access to the cpu and the screen is fucked so I can remove the screen if you want. Using external monitors etc etc I came to the conclusion that both the screen and integrated graphics were dead. I might as well include pics here. This may be a fun project but I don’t have much hope. Basically I’m trying to repair the integrated graphics. Oh and this thing has a PCIE x 1 slot so uh no dedicated graphics. I don’t have the money for a cpu with integrated graphics or if this board even supports removing the cpu.
  12. FYI I changed it to Australia and it caused it to cost more even when converting to AUD from USD because of the hard drives and I can still ship to Australia, just a tip.
  13. I see, awesome can remove that and save money hehe. Thank you for being so helpful.
  14. Oh so I can unlist that other cooler? The stock cooler comes with the cpu or the case right? As for the shipping side. I don’t really want to go out and buy everything locally because Australia likes to charge an extra $50 on everything gaming related so it would cost more to buy it locally. Shipping costs are pretty low as well.
  15. I’m gonna ship everything in anyway though it doesn’t matter. I would love for someone to answer my questions and also I need a cpu cooler like the one I’ve listed correct?
