  3. Guys would you bottleneck a 2080ti with an i7 7700k
  4. So if i were to get a 2080ti would a 650w psu be suffiecent for a I7 7700k RTx 2080ti ?
  5. Also i have a gtx 1080 evga ftw 2 at the moment so you wouldn't advise getting a rtx 2080
  6. So if i were to get a RTX 2080 it could run ray tracing at 2560x1440 at 2k
  7. So if a 2080 ti can do 1440p then why cant a 2080
  8. Youd still be able to go 2560x1440 would you?
  9. Would i have enough power if were to choose this one https://www.scan.co.uk/products/evga-geforce-rtx-2080-xc-ultra-gaming-8gb-gddr6-vr-ready-graphics-card-2944-core
  10. So what your saying is the bigger the psu the better if so why would that be?
  11. Hey guys i was wanting to know if a 650w power supply would be enough for a i7 7700k and a EVGA Rtx 2080 XC https://www.scan.co.uk/products/evga-geforce-rtx-2080-xc-gaming-8gb-gddr6-vr-ready-graphics-card-2944-core
  12. So has anybody got any other ideas of what the cause might have been.
  13. No the breaker only tripped once on the fuse board. No the computer is out of use at the moment.
  14. No it's only the once the the switch tripped on the fuse board.
  15. Yes I shut down my pc and I turn it off at the wall plug. Just the motherboard light the red one and the rog strix aourus at the back of the motherboard
  16. And the country I'm in is Ireland
  17. So what your saying is an inrush of power could have caused this? I mainly just turn the switches on the wall plug off at night because the lights do keep me awake. What would you guys suggest to prevent anything like this from happening again in the future.
  18. The switch on the fuse board that's what I meant. And I meant I turned the switch on at the wall socket
  19. I shall check when I get home what exactly do I look for in particular I wouldn't think the screws would be screwed into the psu itself it's seem as if an amateur would do that. I would think a Computer company/store would do that
  20. Corsair 460x mid tower case I7 7700k 16GB ram 2x8gb Evga gtx 1080 ftw 2 Corsair rm 650x fully modular Gold Be quiet CPU air cooler Samsung evo 850 500gb SSD Seagate barracuda 2tb 7200rpm
  21. I checked the cables and I tried different fuses do you think the psu could be dead?
  22. Hey I was wondering if a 650W power supply was sufficient for a i7 7700k and a gtx 1080. I ask this because I went to turn my plug on at the wall and I heard a bang it also tripped a switch on the mains board I turned the switch back on at the mains board and the lights came on on my system that was fine. I then turned the switches of at the plug and when I went to turn it on the following morning the system lights came on fine I pushed the power switch on the case and gathered tripped a switch on the mains board I flicked the switch back up and I had no system light can any figure out what might have happened and what's broke?
  23. Yes but seeing the case isn't rgb would it still be possible to add rgb fans?
