  1. Having the same issue. Earlier I thought my 800VA Inverter maybe faulty, but now on a 2500VA Inverter it is showing the same characteristics.
  2. Current Specs: Windows 11 Pro Build 22621 Core i5 8400 Gigabyte 1050Ti Factory OC (kind of at end of life due to unreliable temperature reading but I am pretty sure it is working fine - 100% fan at all times) 8*4 GB DDR4 RAM Whenever I tend to play games like Cities Skylines , Transport Fever 2, I have noticed that the System crashes with SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION BSOD. For games like Valorant, it is having no issue. Driver Verifier is Off Core Isolation is turned On(the crash happened even before this was turned on so I believe this is not the cause) Unable to attach dump directly over here, so sharing it via link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/12onXDIV5iIzD0ppS2LEpqKEHLL_ivoEk/view?usp=share_link Any help regarding this would be great.
  3. Currently I have 2 setup - My Personal Desktop, and my Office Laptop. I share the monitor among the two with one connected at DP and another at HDMI. Now the issue is I need to maintain 2 keyboard and mouse for each laptop. I was thinking to only connect my personal Keyboard Mouse (ofcourse much better than the one offered by workplace) over a KVM to both the system. But I am worried about the input Lag it might introduce while gaming. Place : India Any suggestion of good KVM would be helpful
  4. Update : Disabled Secure Boot - Nothing Enabled Legacy Mode - it works !! Is there a compatibility issue of 1050Ti and UEFI ?
  5. Turns out my GPU was not playing well with secure boot. Anybody got any idea of incompatibility between secure boot and 1050Ti ?
  6. So my current specs include: Core i5 8400 - Gigabyte B360 - 8x2 DDR4 RAM - 1050Ti - 500 GB SSD Today I was checking for the compatibility check for Windows 11, and it asked me to activate SecureBoot for Windows 11 Update to continue. So I went into BIOS > Changed the CSM Mode to Disabled > Created a Platform Key > Enabled Secure Boot After that I restarted the System, and it rejected to Boot, giving 5 short beeps. I tried to reinstall RAM and SSD, Clear CMOS so that it gets back to default BIOS but nothing helped. In one random Post I saw that 5 short beeps generally means CPU Error, and in this Chip Shortage I really don't want to buy another CPU. Is there any other test that I might perform or any other troubleshooting method ? I would be grateful for any help I can get.
  7. So as per what my memory serves, Apple removed power adapters starting iPhone 12. Is it me or any one else also noticed that they removed power adapters from iPhone 11, as well ? Website : Apple India
  8. So when the RAM fills up, it moves some of the unused data to Secondary Storage. But when a Page Fault occurs, it reloads the data back from secondary storage. For Systems with more RAM I guess it's not much of a problem since we will have a lot of memory to play with, but for systems with a low amount of RAM, is it possible that using SSD shortens the life span of SSD with low RAM since there will be more Page Faults ?
  9. Happened to me once. Turns out it was a faulty RAM.
  10. Isn't Chromecast built to support 720p as well as 1080p ?
  11. So I brought a ChromeCast for my ageing TV, and when I plugged it in, it shows "No SIGNAL"/"MODE NOT SUPPORTED" message. On the menu/interface it shows the source as HDMI/DVI , but on the back it is labelled as HDMI (DVI) IN instead of HDMI/DVI . So what is going on ? Can anyone explain ? and How to resolve this issue ?
  12. Well, 5 years ago I had an AMD Phenom II X4 965 with a 4 GB RAM coupled with a Sapphire HD 6670 1 GB GDDR5 GPU pligged on an Asus M4N68T-M LE V2. This was rather a better specs than my current specs?which needed to be bought during a cash crunch - an AMD A10-7860K on Gigabyte F2A68HM S1 with a 8 GB DDR3 RAM. And rest of the specs remained same. Looking forward for an i5 8400 with a 16 GB DDR4, a 1050Ti and an SSD
  13. Ok, so I have a HP Pavillion 15 Au-111TX as my daily driver, and looking forward to upgrade it with a SO-DIMM RAM and an Intel Optane Memory. Can anybody confirm whether this model inherently supports Optane or not, since it does runs a 7th gen Mobile i5, and I am absolutely a noobie ?
