  1. Wow, less than 24hrs and i'm torn down for my opinion and given a list of reasons for such. Now I remember why I haven't been on here in years. Guess i'll go back to the real world and get away from such toxic and semi-bais discussions. The only reason I watch WAN in the first place is Linus's & Luke's back-and-forth commentary, don't need anything to change there but if it does, i'll watch a few too see if its, if not, byez. Don't bother responding to this post, I won't be coming back to read if you do reply.
  2. I think it was a Really BAD decision to not do WAN this week. While its been a rough week for LMG, I think not having them talk there and get to interact with the Fans that just wanna talk tech, was very much a let down. All they had to do at the beginning of the show was acknowledge what was going on and ask that no questions be directed on such topic. Instead just focus on healing and moving forward, and most of all Tech & News. While all of this is sad, and we don't know 100% of everything that happened and is happening. We ALL need to be supportive and open to every idea and opinion, not be negative and fight either each other or on other Tech channels. I will still support LMG/LTT even if its just watching their content.
  3. Tried the lasted idea, same thing occurred. I have decided to move what I needed over to my NAS for the time being. If anyone else has any ideas later down the road, I'll check back within a week and see.
  4. I did try to just coping as well, same thing would happen. But no, I haven't tried a different drive then move to the final drive, I will try that out soon.
  5. All drives are Healthy (Good) I should put that in my post, huh.
  6. So recently I decided to start moving files off my C drive (ssd) to an another drive (a hdd) within my PC. The weird thing is, when I go to move the files, which some are only around 2gbs, they drop off at around 50% and start lagging the system; whether i'm trying to play a game or just browsing the web; my PC will start freezing up. Sometimes 'Explorer' will crash or come to a stop for a good 5mins. I tried moving files over my NAS via private network the same way and I don't run into much issues at all. I've done I think some good troubleshooting via 'defrag', 'trim', 'disk clean', etc; what's also weird to me as when doing this operation, my C drive is hardly doing anything, my CPU isn't maxing out or throttling, & memory is usually below 50%. Besides with this going on, the PC runs at it's overclock of 3.9 just fine with no crashes or anything else happening. So any theories or guesses into what might be happening would be really appreciated. My specs just in case it might help: -Currently running newest Ver. of Windows 10 64Bit with all updates applied Ryzen 5 2600 (overclocked to 3.9) 32 GBs of RAM Gigabyte X470 MO (Latest BIOS Installed) MSI Radeon RX 580 [C:] (Intel 660p 1TB SSD) [system drive] [D:] (Toshiba 1.5TB HDD) [Mics drive from an old laptop] [E:] (Western Digital 500GB SSD) [Game Drive] [G:] (SanDisk 128GB SSD [Game drive from a laptop] [I:] (Seagate 8TB HDD) [backup & mics] < - Drive I want to move files too [K:](Kingston 120GB SSD) [Movie drive from a laptop] If any other information is needed, just ask. Thank you ahead of time for anyone that looks at this!
  7. I got a basic Motherboard (Gigabyte GA-AB350M Gaming 3) for my Ryzen 2400g and it doesn't come with a RGB header on it. At first when I built my PC that didn't matter much, but now I am wanting to up grade my CPU to a 2700. That comes with the newer Wraith Spire LED RGB on it, and I'd like to be able to use the RGB factor. Anybody have any suggestions on how to get around this problem other than buying a new MO? Feel free to ask any questions, Thank you. -Don't know if this helps but my case has 4 RGB fans that connect to a hub.
  8. I have been out of the PC building game for awhile and just recently got back in it. After watching many Youtubers, Linus included, I really like what Ryzen was offering, so I built a system: a Ryzen 5 2400g with DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000) 2x 4GB Now I am wanting to add more memory, but with RGB to add, I was thinking this kit: (GeIL SUPER LUCE RGB SYNC AMD Edition 8GB (2 x 4GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200) Desktop Memory Model GALS48GB2400C16DC) but it is at 2400 Mhz. Should I just buy 4 Dimms of 4GB at 2400 Mhz? or buy the 4 Dimmz of 8GB at 3000 Mhz? Thoughts? Thank you!
  9. Umm nevermind here, I can't seam to find were I had read what I was questioning, it's been about a month since I started my debate on what processor to buy. I guess it was a stupid thing to post about. Sorry everyone.
  10. Yeah i'm just looking on AMD's site, it does say 'unlocked'. I am trying to find where I did read the thing about overclocking on it. I'll post the link once I find it here.
  11. So I have a question here, I have heard Linus and other's on YouTube say that ALL the AMD Ryzen processors are overclockable. However, on even AMD's site, also on Amazon's questions/FAQ's and on other sites; they say that the 1500, 1600 & 1700 are not overclockable. Is this True? Or is it more just a "not recommended" because they want you to buy the 'X' version that costs more? The reason I am asking this, is before I buy a 1600 for my new build, I wanna make sure I can overclock it a little, before maybe paying a little more for the 1600X. Thanks and Linus, you Rock! Love watching your vids!
