  1. Yes. The D5 can offer a higher flow rate at a lower pressure, while the DDC has a higher pressure but lower flow rate. DDCs can also run hot and you would probably want a heatsink for it. DDC pumps can be slightly louder than the D5s as well. I am in love with Swiftech's Maelstrom pump/res combo right now. I use them in every build I possibly can. I've had good experiences with EK and Hardware Labs rads, and until you get the case (I assume you pre-ordered) you won't know exactly how much room you will have to work with, and thus how much space you can afford for your rads. Here is a decent shot of the specifications they provide around room for rads, excluding thickness of course. If you can, I always recommend obtaining your hardware first and doing a dry fit to verify how much room and tolerances you have to work with before ordering any of your water cooling gear.
