Hi people, I have an old pentium 4 Northwood 3.00ghz machine and the fan on it is way too loud to even type, I’ve replaced the paste, cleaned dust etc and I think it’s just a loud fan,I can’t monitor the temperate because my motherboard can’t detect temps, (dell optiplex 170l large form factor) I’m trying to cool it with a fan on the side of it, I will later fix it onto the heat sink but I want to know if it will be suitable, below if a short YouTube video of it here; (Edit) I accidentally put 2 videos on this topic, both are the same though

Hey guys, i have decided to get a AMD hd 5450 graphics card for another dell optiplex of mine, the psu is only 250 watt and the card says it needs at least 400watts, my pci-e slot only supplies 45 watt, will i overload the psu or pce slot, the gfx card is here https://www.cnet.com/products/sapphire-radeon-hd-5450-graphics-card-radeon-hd-5450-1-gb-100292ddr3l/specs/ Leave any questions below....

its only about a 250 watt psu, so to be safe max of 50 watts because the dell only supplies 45Watts to the pcie on the motherboard- 11 replies
