  1. I just bought the iSine10s based on zeos' and other reviews. All I know is that they sound a lot clearer than my Razer krakens v2s. They present similar sounds better to me atleast but the sines come in much clearer. I Bought an audeze Mobius in June to replace them completely as my Razer headset. I didn't not look into frequency response graphs. Majority of my music is through Spotify so I tend not to care too much about that stuff. Does it sound good and is it comfortable is all I care about. I was going to get the monoprice and mod them after buying a 3D printer from them also and fixing my gripes that I have with the design of the LCDs and them and find a way to time them better for potential resale. But if that isn't worth my time I will just not do that I will say that the iSine10s don't sound good being powered by my mac's and my phone's 3.5mm Jack. For the Mac I runs creative sound blaster g1, until I can buy the topping D20 dac and A30 amp. Side question is there a good Android headphone dac and amp combo you would recommend. $155 is my limit.
  2. Did you do zeos' modification he did for the review and the sound demo? He opened the back and removed the foam which anyone can do, not that hard. He also didn't have any 5k noise from what I could tell by listening to the demo with my audeze isine10 headphones.
  3. There is only 1 place I can look at headphones near me and it's best buy. I have no store near with quality headphones. So graphs and youtube videos are all I have to for making a purchase
  4. HD800S or DT1990s response AKG K812 or K702 look better to me than the 2 Sennheiser's. the K702's seem to have the best for my preferences and the K7XX are modified K702 drivers. I think I will see how I like the mobius for music with effects turn off and I will see if I even need a second pair. Foobar response: Yeah I was just toying around with that and found it in album list, LOL. WAV verus FLAC: IDK I just think through my current headset, which is a gaming one from razer and why I am even upgrading to all this, WAV files sound slightly better maybe It's just in my head. I download from sources like Bandcamp, and HDTracks which give WAV file downloads, and I am about to drop $5 on monstercat gold to spend a month downloading their entire catalouge as WAV files directly. IDK if that mkes a diffrence or something. I also have 3 CD's I have recently ripped music from still need to splice the tracks from the one giant file to the separate tracks with sound forge 12 steam edition.
  5. DSD response: Ok I will just stick to WAV files, they sound better than FLACs anyways, to me, don't see much use going beyond that further for such a small selection of music in genres I couldn't care less about, minus classical I like classical. Though library management is a bitch with WAV files. I wish I could just have a music player that separated tracks by what folders they were in. Because I use an (Artist)(Album)(track files) system so its all perfectly separated. Mobius response: they were originally being built with a big studio where audeze is located in mind. The studio was using 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound mixing and they wanted something with head tracking built in. -from innerfidelity's interview video Its good for music listening and you can turn off all the effects it has to use it as a pure planar magnetic headphones.-headfi's review/preview HD600 response: I don't like the look of the mesh on the HD6XX and it's counter parts, The AKG's look so much better in terms of their mesh, and I have seen reviews say that they have a fairly flat EQ, which is what I want in a headset. I would even go as far as getting a Massdrop x Focal Elex headset for about $700 to $800 if I had the money for it in addition to getting the mobius, and the media player. Thanks for the help and recommendations though guys.
  6. Okay I am curious on what people recommend are the best headphones for music for no more than $300? Is buying WAV files and importing them to my audio software of choice then exporting them as DSF files good/ok? If I can not get a WAV file would converting a FLAC to WAV then to DSF be ok? I already have an idea for a portable media player that is 16GB internal storage, is expandable, and supports DSD also it can be used as USB DAC. I am getting a pair of Audeze Mobius heaphones, for playing games, which says it supports DSD. I have seen people with previews say the sound is very good, not the best. Would just getting the Mobius and using 200$ of the $300 to get a 400GB SandDisk microSDXC? I have very sensitive hearing so no need to say well you won't ever notice the difference. On slightly higher than safe setting on my samsung S7 I am able to hear out side the headset and be able to discern what the audio is. I was thinking about getting some K7XX headphones with a new cable, or waiting to see if the K8XX comes out and what's it cost is when they are made from a poll on massdrop's site. Recommendation on that? Thanks for the help in advance everyone
  7. I'm not trying to get a build I'm too invested in. I have thousands I can spend on a PC when I get out of debt at the end of year, Lets say I made some very poor decisions like spending 2 separate thousand dollar paypal credit lines on luck based Micro-transactions, It's an addiction. It just has to get me by on my strictly limited budget that I am am forming via some birthday cash, and being a "slave" to my parents and clean their house and walk their dog because that's how far in debt I am.
  8. Ok I updated the build to reflect the changes. It's a saved build so Same link in first post
  9. @Streetguru I thought that to get the best performance from ryzen you needed a clean install media. I have a mac that runs an intel CPU and I have windows on it. The 3466 mhz is just future proofing and to squeeze anysingle ounce of preformance I can get out of the cpu. The PC is for Destiny 2 for the most part. I want to hit low to high settings (variation in the settings for best preformance and look I can get possible) at no less than 70% render resolution at 1080p. @Crunchy Dragon how does a Noctua - NH-L9a-AM4 33.8 CFM CPU Cooler sound. I am adjusting voltage amounts to be slightly higher.
  10. Currently looking into a quick under $700 PC to have all the parts by the end of summer. What is the max frequency someone has gotten a Vega 11 on a R5-2400G? I have seen 1600Mhz on the R3-2200G, I have yet to find someone with the R5 do that. Just as a side bonus This is the build thus far so you know what motherboard and RAM I am also looking at. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/draeftlore/saved/YnFBP6
  11. I need them for music, but I have a priority in gaming also. I want to get good at a competitive game in the chance to go pro.
  12. I also need the headset to work with an xbox one, my future PC ps4 and switch. And the ease of 1 wire helps. I have looked into the MassDrop x AKG 7XX because those are good looking open back headphones. the problem lies with I need a mod mic then which means a second cable I need to manage which is a nuisance if I am swapping for xbox to PC to PS4 and switch dependent on what my friends are playing and what I feel like playing.
  13. Head tracking surround sound by audeze which is not a mid tier brand, from what I can tell. Senhiser's look like shit, fuck the 600's they look hideous. If you can find a good closed back headphones that look good and sound good let me know.
  14. if next year doesn't do what I think than these parts will either stay the same, or I will make a magical transfer of ideology to an intel i9 proccessor, because Intel currently understands that improving core speed is better than just adding more cores, but more cores is also important. I am just asking how suitable this build is for the foreseeable as is.
  15. Nah I don't think It will. I hope that they will improve the speed rather than add more cores. Also please for the love god make them more power efficient if you don't intend to improve the speed.
