  1. Ah i just hope that the faulty part is the motherboard if im being honest here, although i did run intel's cpu test and it just ran fine plus i threw a whole lots of other stress tests and benchmarks on it and no issues on them with a single stick running at its designated speed and latency which makes me doubtful that is the cpu but you never know unfortunately.
  2. Oh and i also tightened and loosened the cpu cooler bracket a few times to see if it had any effect but yielded no difference. Could i have damaged my cpu or moba with excessive mounting pressure?
  3. Thanks for the response, yes the parts are sent back but will likely be returned to me (due to a few scratches on the motherboard... lame. But ram should be refunded) so i would have to figure out what my course of action should be. Whether it be buying a new moba or new sticks or hopefully not a new cpu. The sticks were run with and without xpm for the memtests and the one on the b2 slot failed regadless of dimm slot or xmp. Altough the first time i got my pc for the week it was running i did have xmp, but when i got the new sticks i ran it without xpm and it still died after a few days of use (b2 stick).
  4. Welp these last weeks have been quite frustrating due to some very weird issues caused by unforseen forces. I built my pc around 2-3 weeks ago, it booted up fine threw it different stress benchmarks and all results were quite normal (xmp was on and all the latency and voltages were manually picked by the ram manufacturer so no manual oc). After a week or so of use i started getting bsods and weird freezing accompanied by apps crashing due to "low" memory even though i had 32gbs of it, and bios was detecting both sticks with nothing out of the ordinary. So i took out both sticks (16gb 6000 mt/s cl36 1.35v) which were mounted on a2 and b2, so the a2 stick passed the memtest on all dimm slots no problem but the b2 stick failed on all slots with immediate errors on memtest on specific locations and up to 15k errors. Decided that maybe i had gotten a bad set of sticks i got a exact new pair with rma and got them installed into a2 and b2 again, both of then passed memtest with and without xmp on. Fastforward a few days and all of a sudden i get memory management bsods and apps acting funny once again which got me very frustrated so whener the issue would occur i would just restart my pc then it would work again untill it didnt. Tested each stick which a2 stick passed the memtest on all dims but the b2 stick failed on all slots yet again, but the weird thing is this time the errors were always on the 3rd test and around 40-70% with around 13k errors in a split second. On memtest you can choose which cpu cores to use for the test so i gave every core a go and it always failed around the same place regadless of the core i chose. So what the hell is killing my ram? Was i just super unlucky and got bad sticks twice? Right now i sent the motherboard and the rams to get checked and if they find no user faults i'll get a refund to buy something new. Can someone please clue me on what is wrong with my pc? Really lost here. Thanks. 5. well what do you guys recommend getting for a case around the same price as the h500i or the h500
  6. So i am thinking of changing from cm lite 5 rgb to a nzxt h500i but the thing is i will also get a i5 9600k with the new case and a kraken x62 to go with it but should i use a air cooler with h500i or should a kraken be good enough to keep cpu cool just wondering because of the case using negative air pressure and the potential air passing from the radiator (which will be mounted on the front) and heating up the mobo and the gpu.
  7. ill be sure to check it out btw thanks for the help
  8. i have asus rog strix z370-f moba, going to get corsair h115i pro are these good enough ?
  9. so i am going to get i5 9600k for a upgrade but i dont know if my 1060 will bottleneck it, my 1060 runs at 2080-2111 mhz
  10. So i am going to get a i5 9600k fairly soon but i have still not been able to find a good solution for cooling, i might overclock it a tiny bit my case is cooler master lite 5 rgb So here are the options: Optional- Removing the front panel if you guys think it is necessary it could decrease the temperatures around 4-8 celcius 1- Getting a 240mm liquid cooler and mounting it on the intake fans 2- Getting a 120mm liquid cooler and mounting it on the exhaust fan 3- Getting a air cooler and leaving the case fans alone i am desperate at this point
  11. oh and also the input lag dies when i use cpu lasso to decrease the game's priority so the cpu doesnt really get any problems but it also doesnt really push itself and the game just stutters
  12. what happens is that when i click a on the keyboard it either doesnt input or inputs without a problem but when i get my finger of it it still counts as i am still keeping my finger on it and sometimes the inputs are just a bit delayed
  13. it only happens when the cpu manages to hit %100 and after it does the cpu responsiveness starts to die off till i decrease the graphics or so i might be rambling bullshit right now but i honestly think that it is because of the cpu
