Hello all, Happy New Year, I'm looking for a monitor under £200 with adaptive sync and Freesync, reason being my buddy had an old rx 550 sitting around that I could do the switcheroo thing with freesync on my 1060, although I dont really know the difference between adaptive sync and freesync, is it worth the hassle? Currently got a 1300x which as you can imagine is shite at most games (bottlenecks like fuck), for £140 i had my eyes on the 2600 my only other questions are how do i update my ga a320m ds2 bios?

ok so gtx 1060 6gb, ryzen 3 1300x @ stock 1tb hdd a320m-ds2 8gb 2400 ddr4 here he is running it on ultra when i do that im getting about 10 my ram speed is a little slow but surely thats not the reason

So i have a gtx 1060 6gb and a ryzen 3 1300x with 8gb 2400, every single gameplay i watch of people with this system get higher fps even though they are recording, my cpu is at stock cause my mobo is non overclockable and on bf1 they are sometimes getting 6x the fps, whats up, as they are streaming too (gpu is an EVGA SC gtx 1060)

I had an rx550 for 6 months and tbh because I have a source of income, I don’t see a reason to deal with low FPS and low settings, the rx550 is just a shit gt1030

Right now I have a gtx 1060 6gb which I bought in June, I would prefer to buy a GPU for £450 and have it last a long time, so my question is do I sell my GTX 1060 6gb later in the year and buy a gtx 1170 and have it last me ~5-6 years, or get a gtx 1160 when my gtx 1060 slows down? My parents think I should weigh up the costs of both options (I have a job so I just wanna to go the least expensive over time route) Edit: The 1070ti is also an option, really just looking for extremely future proof cards
