  1. Hi everyone, I'm seeking advice on choosing a new monitor after transitioning from an Nvidia to an AMD GPU. I currently own an Acer Predator XB271HU 1440p 165Hz G-Sync monitor, but since I've switched to an AMD XFX 7900 GRE after my first build in many years, I can no longer utilize the G-Sync module. I'm concerned about losing access to variable refresh rate technology and I'm looking for recommendations on a suitable replacement. My desk measures 65cm in depth and is this model from JYSK: [ https://jysk.ie/office/desks/computer-desks/gaming-desk-halbjerg-65x135-w/led-white ]. I'm considering a 34" ultra-wide for immersion, but I'm unsure if my desk depth is sufficient, I'd also be open to a better 27" monitor too as I'm concerned about stability if mounted directly on the desk. I'm open to purchasing a TV stand and slightly adjusting the desk setup if needed. My priorities are good contrast and motion clarity, although OLED monitors are out of my budget. I'm located in Europe and my budget is around €500, but I'm open to cheaper options as long as they offer an improvement over my current setup. Any thoughts or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
  2. Yeah I'm considering a subwoofer for the a5's or just getting the Adams. Did you find the Adams extremely bright or do they still have a decent amount of bass?
  3. Actually considering returning the A5+ and getting the Adams instead, do you have them yourself? The A5+ bass to me sounds a little distracting and I'm pretty sure the Adams allow you to tweak it manually to your liking? For EDM I love bass but all the time especially in games can become annoying I found.
  4. Over the past few days I've asked a few questions about audio and finally picked up a pair of A5+. I'm loving them so far but I'd love to find a decent subwoofer that would work well with these, the AudioEngine S8 sub is a bit pricey for what it is so i'm looking for an alternative. Note: I am in Europe so the US brands are hard to get or have huge shipping costs. Thanks everyone.
  5. What would be the best way to attach it would you say? In the manual with my a5's its says don't use solvents and clean with a dry cloth, I wonder would using some sort of adhesive tape be ok for the finish or the monitors? Or would there be a better way to attach that doesn't cause any damage, just in case I ever sell them or send them back under warranty, thank you.
  6. Hey everyone, just bought my first set of propper speakers, the A5+. I've heard a lot of people say the domes are extremely fragile and if they get pushed in or dented the speakers are permanently ruined? Is this the case I genuinely haven't a clue how speakers work other than they use magnets. I'm just curious if there's any aftermarket grills that are able to be stuck on in order or protect them, you can never be too careful I guess, accidents can happen so I'd love to be able to find something so I'm not constantly worrying about it. Thanks.
  7. Bought the A5+ , got them on sale.
  8. Thank you, I'm open to options, they're cheaper too, the rokkits that is so I'm interested, what's their bass like?
  9. Just wondering does anyone have an ICC profile or some custom calibration settings for the Acer XB271HU 1440P G-Sync monitor, been trying to find the perfect settings for years now, any help would be much appreciated.
